The Flip Video is a great little video camera. It's small and light enough to drop into the bottom of your purse, but also has a wrist strap if you want to keep it handy. It takes great video and the software automatically downloads to your computer. Great battery life.

I am not one to do a lot of videos, but from time to time I like to be able to share something with family and friends. The little Flip Video Ultra Flash Media Camcorder is nice to have around just for that. Filming is easy and the quality of the video is really nice. I love how well sound is picked up too. It's small and compact so it does not take up a lot of space or weigh a lot. One complaint I have is how quickly it drains batteries! Gracious it drains them fast!! That adds up quick and when you are travelling that can be costly. Who wants to travel with a big package of batteries, but who wants to buy them on the go. They are really expensive in touristy areas! I love how the Flip site is easy to use too. I just wish when you downloaded a ton of videos that they all went into one file and in order. For some reason they get out of order and go into several files, so making one continuous video is time consuming! But all the fun things you can do are great!! Performance Very easy to use and I thought for the product high quality video. Battery Life A mega battery drainer!! Durability Dropped several times and has held up!! Ease of Use Easy to load batteries, easy to film and easy to download! Design Like it a lot. Simple and slim to hold so it does not weigh your hand(s) down while using it.

The flip video camera is a portable recording device. It has one touch recording, 2x zoom, and instant playback and delete. Its extremely user friendly, easy to operate. It also features built in software, the ability to take still photos from videos, you can wathc the videos instantly on your tv, get dvds made, and easily email or publish online. I got the flip video camera when I had my child almost two years ago now. It is absolutely perfect for recording those precious moments. It's so small and handy, you can easily slip it into you purse alongside your cell phone. With the flip of a switch, you are recording! I have Uploaded the videos to my computer, sent them to various people, posted them on Facebook, and posted them on you tube for relatives to view. The quality of video is very good. The ease of uploading is great as well. There is a compartment which houses a USB plug in. So you can plug the camera right into your computer. There is also no disc, the software is built in to the device! The flip is a great video recording device. Perfect for catching quick videos. The point and shoot of video cameras. Very user friendly, durable, and easy to use.

I love this camera! It is so perfect for taking around on small trips or excursions! The video quality is also amazing for such a small cam! I took it on a kayaking trip with my little cousin where we encountered manatees! I took out the camera and immediately started taping the manatee when he came right up to our boat! Forever now, I have this amazing moment captured in a great quality for me and him to watch for years to come. Every time I see him he always wants to watch it. Playback is so simple, since you can review the videos right on the screen! It is also excellent on battery life! I still have not had to change them! Another awesome aspect is the USB port. Instead of messing with external SD cards, you literally pop out the USB and pop it in the USB drive of your computer! From there, you can upload the videos right to your hard drive and save them! It literally fits in your pocket and is so easy to use!

The Flip video is perfect for videoing any occasion. It is small so it can fit in your pocket or in your purse. Since it is not bulky and heavy it easy to make videos with. My husband bought it to record himself when he is referring highschool basketball games. There are alot of accessories that you can purchase the make the Flip video even more convenient. He bought the tripod so he sets it up, referees his game and then watches it to see ways that he can improve. It has helped him to become a better referee and as a better referee, he has been offered more job opportunities. I use it alot to make video reviews. I can hold it in front of me or set it on the tripod. Since it is high definition, the picture quality is excellent. It is very easy to download to the computer since it has a USB port built in. It can record up to two hours of footage which is the most that you would ever want to record.

The Flip Video Ultra is great to use for close up pictures to post on Facebook or Myspace or whatnot, the sound recording is pretty good. It is extremely easy to use and download the video clips onto the web. The picture loses quality when you use the zoom, so it's not so good for far away pictures, but still worth the buy.

I actually got this camera for Christmas. I was a little surprised, I got it from a family member that doesn't normally buy things like this, so I'm like, "oh great, a piece of junk video camera to stick in a drawer or closet". Boy was I wrong. I started playing around with the camcorder while opening Christmas presents, and got great videos. It's easy to use, you can stick it in your pocket, the sound quality is great for such a small camcorder. You don't even have to deal with trying to figure out where the wires are to connect it to the computer, it has a flip-out USB so that you can plug it right in! I was looking for the CD for the software I was sure I was going to need, it was on the camera and installed itself when I plugged the camera into the computer. The FlipVideo software is great. I made all my little movies from the day into one big one with seamless transistion from one to the next, added a title and credits screen, music, and was even able to take still snapshots from the video that are excellent quality. I have used larger camcorders in the past and have never had the ease of use and with playing with them on the computer like I have with this one. This would be great for people that are not sure they want to put the money into a larger one they're not sure they're going to use, it's great to travel with due to space saved, and I am seriously thinking about buying one for my technologically unadvanced parents. They bought a bigger one and have used it once because they could not figure out how to get their movie off the hard drive and into the computer. As easy as this one is to use I am positive they would be able to make movies, pictures, and all in all enjoy using electronics for a change, something they are a bit scared of. The controls are very easy to use, I think this is the most non-confusing camera I own.

the flip video camcorder in my opinion and from my observation while using this horrible camera is that its quality is very poor and very dis likeable! although i do admitt it is very easy to share on your computer in emails  to send to a family relative. this vamera is only two stars worth to me. when i used the camera i was so scared to drop it because it felt so flimsy it felt like if u dropped it once it would completely  fall apart! I am sorry to say that i would never ever never ever never ever ever ever ever recommend this product to a friend unless picture/video qulity low light picture and flimsyness doesnt matter to you. If you really really really really really really just need this to send videos then sure i guess thank you for reading this review and im sorry to bum you out if you where thinking this whole time the flip camera would just be a perfect buy. If you have the flip and think it works just fine and is very unsatisfied with my review than i am sorry and hope that this isnt insulting to you
