I couldn't help myself. I had to buy the Flip mini camcorder. I have a big, old camcorder, but I don't use it much. Too much work. The Flip sounded like a lot more fun.

I don't think I have ever been as thrilled with any purchase as I am with this one.  Really.  I saw an ad for this little Flip digital video recorder and decided to check it out.  They are really inexpensive, only run about $120 for the more expensive model.  I always wanted a digital video recorder but can't stomach spending hundreds of dollars on something that isn't going to be used daily or could fall of the counter and be gone forever.  I figured that for the price I really couldn't go terribly wrong.  I expected to be a little disappointed but I was totally surprised at how easy it... review »

     This is the easiest piece of electronic equipment that I have ever used!  Literally, take it out of the package, hit the power button, then hit the record button, and you are on your way!

     When you are done with your video, pop the little USB arm out from the side of the camera and plug it in to your PC.  The software is on the camera, there are no CD-Roms to lose, no cable to fiddle with, nothing.  It is that easy.  Your videos just pop up on your screen.

the flip camera is a neat device, it is smaller than a deck of cards, it takes incredible video clips, the colors are great and the sound is very good. my only drawback is that it does not have a flash so that you can take pictures in a dark setting. the cost was pretty nice, I bought it for less than $125.00. lt is computer usable, I just plug the camera into the usb slot on my pc and using the software that came with it, it uploads to its own pc file. the pictures are wonderful and colorful. you can also print snapshots, view video and take to a store that puts your pictures or video on a dvd.... review »

I love this handy, easy to use video camera. It's small enough to keep in my purse. It can record and store up to 60 minutes. Then you can take it to a pure digital photo printing store(such as CVS) and have them make a DVD for about $13.00, or you can burn it down yourself. A USB port flips out and you hook it right up to your PC. It's also handy to e-mail a video. (and I'm not very computer savvy...so if I say it's easy, it must be!!)It has limited zoom and no light for nighttime filming, but for a little over $100.00, along w/ the ease and convenience, it is a super deal!! The Flip video camera is small, lightweight and easy to use. But it is no lightweight in video and audio quality. It's simple - take video, plug the built-in USB adaptem into you computer, then watch or downl;oad your video. Making movies on DVD is a snap. It's low cost, ease of use and convenience make this a great product!

I got this as a gift and absolutely love it! It's extremely easy to take anywhere and easy to take a video within seconds!  Sometimes, it almost seems too small (if that's possible anymore) - basically, such that it's difficult to really feel like you have exceptional amount of control over the movement of the camera.  Overall, though, I LOVE this!  It's perfect for our life with a 2 year old - you never know where you'll be when you need to take a quick video of something cute!!!

This camera works great. I was given it as a gift and i absolutely love it! It is a great way to capture all the silly little things my daughter does then email them or post them to share them with my friends and family. It sucks up batteries but thats about all i can complain about with it. I love it and thinks it works great!! I also love how small and compact it is that i can take it any where! Even to concerts!!

the flip digital camera is the most easy recording device that I have used.  small and simple to use.  It is so simple a child can use and get great results.  Point and shoot without all the gizmos to confuse.  Transferring images is a breeze and the connection to the TV is as simple as they come.  Get one you won't be dissapointed.

I bought this camera for a work project after seeing it on the internet.  It only takes 60 minutes of video at a time, but it's just the ticket for my use.  It's also easy to download and share the videos.  If you'd like a camera that's easy to carry (if you're skiing, hiking, etc.), the Flip video camera is a great choice.

We have a new baby and take great videos with this camera.  Everyone we show it to is impressed and can email the smaller sized videos to grandparents!  You can blend videos together as well and add music.  Another bonus is the still pictures you can freeze in the edit mode.

It is so easy to use. It looks like and handles like the throw away ones. I only owned one camcorder and that was back in 1983. then they were just big and bulky and hard to hold and very exspensive. This one fits right into your hand and is so light to hold

We just had a son and of course its video time!  We already had a Canon (big, huge, clunky) recorder but I needed something that would be user friendly, easy to travel, and no-fuss-no muss to use.  Plus, it's affordable!  I am in love with my Flip Video and am so happy I bought it after my exhaustive research. 

It takes fabulous videos and is so easy to use and upload videos to youtube, myspace...and hoping it syncs a bit better with Facebook in the future.  But you can still upload onto Facebook directly from your C drive.  When you have an infant, you don't know when a cute moment is coming...
