I was tired of lugging the camcorder around and was missing a lot of great sports and other activities of my kids.  I received this for Christmas.  Used it just once - last night at a basketball game.  I learned I have to sit in the front row if I want more than pea-sized basketball players in the video!  It's convenient, small but not has high quality as I had hoped.  The zoom is really not a zoom.  But, it will still mean I have more videos of my kids so it's a trade-off.
