People who are afraid of losing their photos. Flickr gives free to use completely a terabyte of memory. That once saved my photos from total destruction. If you are a curious person , and not just careful, Flickr offers a huge number of original photos from around the world. The number of unique works is just obscene. And one life is not enough to see all perfect shots. It is possible to add interesting work to your favorites and to see what what professionals add to their "favorite". In general it is essential as a platform for inspiration . Such a large number of photos creates true known issues: sometimes it is difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, a good shot from hundreds of mediocre. This search draws sometimes not less than contemplation. At least for me. Advantages: a large number of works, the ability to download the original size, globality, the presence of groups by interest Disadvantages: a lot of anadromous and random photos.

It was a fun site to use and it was also very easy. Signing up is quick and the range of photos is huge. Only issue I had was that the site deleted my initial account and then randomly made me a new one. It used my yahoo email to make a new one which was alright with me, but it deleted all of my saved photos from my last account. Anyways, the good definitely outweighs to bad on this one. Flickr is great all around and I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been uploading and sharing my photos on Flickr for two years now. During this time I have enjoyed the ease of uploading my photos and the social experience by sharing them, however, the overall experience can be a little frustrating at times. I wish that the website were more user friendly when it came to searching/browsing for photos. Searching on Flickr can be a real drag as the search results are not always accurate. I wish there was an advanced search function so that I could browse certain keywords in the text as opposed to just tags or titles. I also dislike how large the photos display when searching. They photos are very large which adds to the loading time. This is made worse when browsing on a mobile device. Overall, I think Flickr is a nice way to be able to share your photos but is not the greatest for actually browsing or searching. I wish the user interface was more like Google image search. As a result, my usage of Flickr has actually decreased.

I used Flickr.com for a photography class in college. It is very easy to use and you can show off your photography to a whole bunch of people if you make all your stuff public! You can also choose to make specific photos private. I like how next to the pictures they list what camera was used and all the specs about the picture. I have kept my Flickr account even though I had the class years ago. I like it to look at other peoples photography as well.

Ever since I downloaded the flicker program, I keep getting other peoples pics on my computer.  Now this is what it's supposed to be, a shared pic program, but you can't be choosy...it downloads them all!!!  Many great picks, but I don't want them as part of my "family" album!

Flickr to me has grown over the last few years in quality and ownership. Flickr Is part of the Yahoo Group. Ive been a member for quite some time and have an lot of fun, met quite a few people with the same interests. Some of these people now also belong to other sites with me. I find its easy to use interface to upload plus the are many widget like tools you can use at other sites to show you pictures posted at Flickr...

I joined the site and as soon as I did my computer started having problems. The 2 dots that show up in front of the address were on every websites address, if not the 2 dots then it was just the wrong icon in general. To this day I still catch this problem occurring every so often. Also my desk tops background is no longer there and I can't change it because something happened...but do I know what it was....NO! And why do I not know...because when I contacted Flickr about the problems that my computer was having they just sent me a computer generated response that said that they would check into it. After waiting over a month and not hearing any more from them I decided to quit the group. By the way my computer is still all messed up, I have yet to find a way to fix it.

There are tons of online photo sharing sites out there that it is virtually difficult to differentiate one from the other, as every site offers a plethora of features.  Flickr is actually different.  That is because many people use it.  A site can be termed as popular only by the number of users and Flickr has plenty of them.  It is the only Yahoo business that is profitable I think.  It is a great way to share photos about a place, and also a great place to find out about new regions and experience different cultures.  Many of my friends have Flickr Pro accounts, and it shows that in today's age of rampant online piracy where people want everything for free, people do not hesitate to spend if the products are really good.  Flickr happens to fall in that category.  Another great thing about Flickr is the ability to view the Exif Info of every photograph that is uploaded.  That serves as a great benefit for beginners like me who have no idea of what it takes to take a good photograph.  If you have not used Flickr, now is the time to try it!

This is a great way to share photos with family.  Grandma can look all day if she wants.  It is super easy to upload pics. The only thing i do not like it to edit pics you have to go to picnik and that is so slow.  it took me about 2 hrs to edit 5 pics.
