Just imagine, a plush landscaping with waterfalls and pools with live carp fish and real live flamingo playfully posing for on lookers. This is such a relaxing environment to enjoy a relaxing vacation.  They have a  nice coffee shop and a delicious buffet. They start serving 7am to 11 am for breakfast.... review »

We stayed at the Flamingo for three nights in July 2006.  The Flamingo has one of the absolute best locations, in the center of the nice part of the strip, providing easy access to the most popular resorts and casinos.  This was a good thing, because their casino is very dated and crowded and the entertainment...

My first time arriving at the Flamingo we were told their computer systems were down and we'd have to come back and check in later.  This frustrated me.  But later when we came back I asked how their systems were doing, learned it was a simple glitch.  They apologized for the inconvenience and the rest of my stay wiped out my frustration!  The room, the view...it was all great!  The beds are comfy, the showers are relaxing and the t.v. in the bathroom mirror was an enjoyment to have!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel during our stay for a conference in Las Vegas.
The room was adequate...but we expected much more for the amount of money we paid.
The pool is always crowded - to a point where it's unpleasant. It's a beautiful pool, however, they close it frequently to cater to private parties - as early as 5PM.
During our last night, the hotel decided to have a party for, what the security department said was 10,000 people in the courtyard, which about 50% of the rooms face. It started at 8PM and continued until at least 1PM. They had the sound system blaring and it was unbearable....

I was surprised at how nice the rooms were.  This is an older hotel/casino, but they recently have done remodeling. I went for my honeymoon in late 2007 so I had gotten one of the remodeled suites.  We loved it!  We come from a small town so maybe that's why it impressed us so much.  There was a tv built into the mirror in the bathroom.  Really nice shower with multi-directional shower massagers.  Furnishings were very modern.  Clean room & great linens. They were still doing some remodeling on some of the floors so there was a bit of noise, but not bad & we had been warned by the staff... review »

I attended a conference at this hotel and enjoyed my stay - except for the fact that it was a gazillion miles from my room to the restaurants... and my room to the casino... and my room to the conference facilities... and especially my room to the exit! They would have been wise to install a few more elevator banks since the floors are so large. Definitely recommend a room RIGHT next to the elevator! If you can, try and get a room in the tower closest to the front desk as well. The pools were lovely, though - but don't try swimming at night, you'll freeze. You'd think the water would hold the warmth... review »

We had alot of fun at the Flamingo.  The pool area is beautiful.  The flamingo is close to alot of other casinos and there is a shuttle to take you to the Rio.  We really enjoy staying at the Flamingo.  There is a Margarittaville on the corner and that is a fun place to go to.  Las Vegas is always a good time.  You just have to pace yourself with gambling.  There is so much more to do there.

The Flamingo has a great buffet. If you have one of their player cards you can get a coupon for $5.00 off their buffet. Just ask at the Players Club.  The staff in the buffet are friendly and quick.  The buffet has a huge pile of crab legs.  Delicious!  Look for the drawn butter near the carving station.

My husband and I stayed at the Flamingo a few months ago and had a pretty good experience there. It wasn't as memorable as staying at a nicer Strip hotel like the Bellagio, of course, but it was affordable and clean, and we really weren't spending much time in there anyways. The location is its best asset, in my opinion.

The hotel is moderatly priced and is in a great location.  Even if you dont stay at the Flamingo you must go to the buffet.  All you can eat crab legs for $17.99.  They also have prime rib.  When you check in make sure you up grade for $20/night more to get a strip view room.  it is well worth it
