Once upon a time, there was a tiny hamburger joint in Arlington, VA, called "Five Guys." It was run by a dad and his four sons, and their somewhat downscale burger joint quickly made a name for itself as having the best burgers and fries around. After years of toiling in obscurity with two or three tiny (and grungy-chic) burger joints, Five Guys has been on an expansion binge in the Washington, DC, area.
There are now hundreds of Five Guys restaurants, including one at the Fox Mill Plaza in Reston, VA, close to my work. I go there regularly, often with a group of co-workers who get together for...

The burgers are amazing, the fries to die for. Which is appropriate because if you ate here enough, you would. However, this is a great place to treat yourself if you are in the area!

read full review »Five Guys burgers are the best there are! If you're really hungry, get a double stack. Mildly hungry, go with a 'little burger' (I use the term "little" very loosely). Add as many or few toppings as you want. And don't forget the fries! For two people, one order of fries is plenty as they load up your bag with them.
You get in and out with an amazing burger and it's fairly easy on your wallet!
I go to Five guys with my family all the time. the peanuts, the great fries, and the burgers are delicious. i would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an All- american burger place. although it- the tables- sometimes gets messy, this place is great. this restaurant is not for people who are looking for a more elegant dining experience, but i would recommend it to all my friends.
