The first time I saw Tony Little‘s Gazelle Freestyle Elite was at my mom’s condo’s fitness room

To the Point

I liked this machine a lot more than I thought it would. I think this machine is best for the person who does not do and doesn’t want to do intense cardio vascular conditioning....

A friend gave me the gazelle a few months ago.  The first time I used it I was a little disappointed.  It does give you a workout, but the motion takes a while to get used to.  It does give you a workout, but does not work as well as an elliptical machine.  If you are trying to choose between the... review »

Tony Little's Gazelle Freestyle Elite has got to be a life saver. I lost 142lbs in just under 9 months using this. It builds up a sweat, and makes thighs and calfs look fantastic

My daughter introduced me to her gazelle when I was visiting; I was wary at first, having used larger elliptical machines at my health club.  But, I needed to do SOMETHING to keep fit during the month I stayed with her, so I approached the gazelle.  What a surprise!  After a couple of trials I was doing all the advanced moves and found I did not get "out of breath" as I did using my club's ellipical.  And the results turned out to be far more pleasing:  I began trimming and losing weight immediately!  When I got home, I immediately bought a gazelle of my own and continue to be amazed by the... review »

My Gazelle Freestyle Elite is exactly what I needed. I tried using an eliptical trainer first. I found it to be uncomfortable to use because the footrests were at an odd angle for my feet. Plus it didn't fold. I really needed something that wouldn't take up much room or that I could fold and be put away when not in use. So, I returned it and tried the Gazelle Freestyle Elite and found it was easy to use and comfortable as well. Also, considering I'm disabled with back problems, fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis, it isn't too difficult for me to move. If I need to I can just fold it up and drag...

This machine is low impact and certainly isn't as boring as a treadmill; however you should really look at the different versions to see which one is best for you. This one is the more "high end" version, but it does come with a lot of extras!  The nice thing is that you can control your workout a good bit by increasing your speed and/or angle.

I find that I can watch a recorded tv show and forget how long I am on the machine.  Don't be fooled though, when you first begin, even 3 minutes will feel like a lifetime!  It works!

This is a great piece of excersize equipment - that I should be using more often!  I just hop on, and watch a favorite show while 'gazelling'.   The time goes by quickly, and I've gotten a great workout!  I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a low impact workout, that's great for cardio.

I am disabled with a back fusion and a nerve disease throughout my body and it is very hard for me to participate in most forms of exercising.  My doctor recommended I try the Gazelle.  10 minutes a day as many times a week as I am able, plus I can move up to 15 minutes if my body lets me.

I LOVE the Gazelle.  I can exercise without hurting myself or causing me to be bedridden because I exercised.  I felt so good the first time I got on it.  I have it in my computer room where there is a TV.  I can watch TV while working out on it, or listen to music.  It is fun and so easy to do.  I started...

When I first got the Gazelle, I was so intent on making it work for me that I was using it 6 or more times a week and for too long a period of time for eah use.  I ended up causing a problem with the muscles in my legs and had to stop using the machine while I healed up. You can get so involved using the machine that you forget about the time, and you  just work out longer than you intend to.  The machine is quiet and smooth operating.  It is quite easy to operate and doesn't take much effort to break it in and start a regular routine for yourself. I go to the gym three days a week now,... review »

The Gazelle Freestyle Elilte is a great addition to your workout.  You can use it for cardio or strength training by adjusting the resistence which is really easy to do.  You can target specific areas of the body as well by standing on the pads in different positions.  The video you get with it shows you everything.  This machine is also safe for people with back problems or joint problems as their is zero impact to your joints. This model of theGazelle is the heavy duty model for weights up to 300 pounds.  It also operates silently which is good for not waking people in the morning.  Maintenance...

My tread mill works much better. Sliding your feet back and forth is a total waste of time!! I,m a construction worker and I get more cardio at work then I can ever get on this machine. The adds for this do not even come close to the actual benifits you will get from using this machine. To me this is a invention to make money off unexpecting fittness buffs. Let a big fittness name indorse a product that does not work and watch the money roll in.
I worked out for one hour on this product and it did not give me the workout I get in a half hour on a tread machine, you might as well sit on a swing...

what a great, EASY, way to firm and tone! I love this machine! Just 3 or 4 times a week, at least 5 - 10 minutes each time, and what a diffrerence it makes! You can work virtually any part(s) of your body just by the position you take on the Gazelle. I have had comments from others about the indents (or definition) in my upper arms, and the tightness of the rest of me after working on the Gazelle just a few short weeks!

My biggest problem with workouts is being consistent, so this is a great, no excuse way to keep up with keeping in shape! I keep mine behind my couch so it is easy to just...

I can't say I use the gazelle all that much, but when I am motivated to pull it out I really enjoy it! It's easy to do while watching TV and doesn't feel exhausting, yet you'll feel it the next day! I like the gliding motion and it's super easy on your joints. It does take up some room while you're on it though so you'll need a good enough space when using it. It folds up nicely and can fit in a closet, under the bed, or against a wall. It's a good beginner piece of exercise equipment. and I love how QUIET it is!! Doesn't support people weighing more than 300 pounds though - just fyi! The price... review »

The Gazelle is great for the people who would like to bring exercise into their lives and are not comfortable enough to go to a gym.  It's great for the beginners, but the more advanced may find it not challenging enough.  It's easier on the joints than regular walking or running.  I think it comes down to how you enjoy doing your exercise.  If you like it in the privacy of your own home and the repetitiveness does not bother you, then it is a good piece of equipment.  If you bore easily staying in the same place, it would not be a good investment.  It is rather bulky, so make sure you have... review »

I owned one of these for about two years and it really was an enjoyable workout. I did not notice the results in legs and thighs that the commercials show and promise, but it did help me maintain my weight at the time. After about months it got quite noisy on me as it squeaked rather loudly, but with an occasional greasing it was okay. It was easy to move around and store if I decided I needed to put it away. Mine eventually broke...the bar that when across the from bent and I had to get rid of the machine. I paid about 80 bucks for it at the time, so I think I got my moneys worth.
