I love the Fitflop shoes.

I'm no health specialist or dietician or hardcore dieter/exerciser, but the sales pitch for the shoes was hard to resist. So I plopped down the $50 for them as soon as they became available at my local Bath and Body Works and started walking.

First of all, I did notice that the gait while walking with them felt strange. It almost felt like how your legs feel when trying to walk or run through sand, only without the slowing of speed.

A couple weeks later I got a puppy and he decided to try to chew on them. The left shoe is a bit gnawed up and looks like it's ready to fall apart but these shoes are very durable! The puppy chewed on them 7 months ago and they're still going!

After about a month I did start to notice that my lower legs were toning up just a tad. Like I said, I'm no exerciser or anything like that, but I wore these to go to the store, around the university campus, that sort of thing. I'd get an easy hour or two walking time out of them. Lately I've been using them to walk my puppy, getting an extra half hour in there.

The shoes do work, and they're SO comfortable. I've always hated flipflops and sandles of any kind. I don't think I CAN wear any other flipflop now!!
