These pruning shears are the best, hands down! I do a lot of gardening and yard work, so I am familiar with garden tools. I have tried countless shears for trimming bushes and small trees, even the types you plug in, but I will always use this brand. The first thing you notice is the padded handles. This is a must if you do a lot of pruning. I prefer not to wear groves when pruning so I get a better grip on the pruning shears, so the padding is a must. Secondly, these are incredibly sharp. I swear they will cut through just about anything, from a small rose bush to bigger trees that need trimming. These are the best pruning shears I have ever owned and will recommend to any serious gardener.

I have used many different types and brands of pruning shears over the years and when I bought the Fiskars I knew I would never buy another brand. The Fiskars Pruning Shears are fun and easy to use. The grips on the shears on very comfortable and your hands don't get tired. I have never had a problem with the grips sliding off. I do all the yard work and gardening in our yard so my pruning shears really get a work out all through the year. The blades are always sharp and ready to go to work. I have had my Fiskars for many years and they still prune as good now as they did the first time I used them, They are a professional style tool so you know you will always get great results. The locking mechanism is great, when you lock them they stay locked until you release it. The shears are designed for either left or right handed use, and are comfortable either way. The blades are teflon coated so you never have to worry about them rusting. They are easy to clean up after using, all it takes is a simple wipe. I don't worry about the blades sticking together or getting off center when I cut or prune a limb. The cut is always clean and precise. I recently bought another pair of Fiskars Pruning Shears to keep in the house so I will always have a pair nearby when I need them. Just for average everyday snipping and pruning my Fiskars really get a good work out and I am very pleased with the shears. They are dependable and a great investment for anyone who enjoys yard work and gardening.

My husband received his first and only pair of Fiskar Pruning Shears about 15 years ago. Both of us use them almost every day during Spring, Summer and Fall. I love how they are so reliable and easy to use. They have NO rust on them, and have been left out in the rain plenty of times. My 8 year old is able to help cut up branches or snip flowers with these-they handle so well. We use them to trim small branches from our hedges in the backyard, cut flowers, carefully remove tomatoes from the vine. There are so many uses outside in the garden and backyard! I love how they lock up when not in use, and can be snapped open quickly. They are easy to clean and store. I am actually amazed that they have not been lost and have made it through quite a few moves. They are the most used hand tool that we work with in the backyard, and we are all extra careful because of this.

The Fiskars Pruning Shears have been durable for the price. They have held up year after year and still work just as well as the day we first got them. The price can be deceiving, I wasn't really expecting much for what we paid for them but they have completely blown us away. As a member of several garden type groups I have used many kinds of clippers. Starting with cheap ones,which break, just do not have the clipping power. I have a pair of these pruning shears in my car and in my garden bag! I got turned onto them by one of the older garden members when my cheap pair broke. We had gone to a blighted community in our city and planted a bunch of trees on the curb strip and I was trimming the dead branches off existing trees. My clippers just snapped in half! The women let my use hers and with the first clip I could feel the difference!! The are durable, make nice clean cuts, the handle is nice on the hands when you are doing a lot of clipping! I even started over clipping because they were working so great!!! I would recommend these to ever garden lover! They clean off so well. They are a must have in your garden basket. I needed some new pruners, so on one of his many home improvement store trips, my husband brought home the Fiskars Pruning Shears. I couldn't be happier. The positioning of the blade makes for a nice, clean cut that prohibits disease in plants. The handles are ergonomic and feel very comfortable in my hands. My hands do have trouble sometimes with repetitive motion, but the amount of torque needed with these shears is no problem. I can seriously put in a couple hours in my garden with no problem. They are good for everything from clearing out spent flowers to small diameter branches. I think with the proper care, these shears can last for many, many years. Seriously, can you go wrong with any Fiskars products? They are all meant to last for a long time and constructed in a durable fashion. I have no problem paying more for something that is built well and will last. I will certainly purchase more from the Fiscars product line and encourage my husband to do the same.

We recently bought a house with a fairly large yard a quite a bit of landscaping. We receive a lot of yard tools as house warming presents and these Fiskars Pruning Shears were one of them. We moved from a condo without a yard, so I have very limited experience with gardening tools, but I think these are great! The handles are padded, so they are soft and you can also grip them well. They lock easily and are easy to clean. They are sharp (so far, I have only used them for about a year). I also really like the size. They are small enough to be able to get into tight spaces, but they can also be used to cut larger things. These are my go to shears when I am working in the garden. My husband usually uses shears that are a bit larger, and that probably works better for him because he has larger hands. I can't comment on the prices because we received these as a present. I would recommend these shears.

Over the years I have used my fair share of pruning shears. From the expensive "professional" brands to the cheaper store brands and everything in between. Last year I decided to give Fiskars a try and I had high hopes based on their quality scissors and I have not been disappointed at all. I use pruning shears quite a bit around the yard because of the vast variety of shrubs and trees I have and these shears cut through them all. I also didn't need to sharpen them all season which was a pleasant surprise. They are very easy to use, the grips feel great in the hand, and the build quality is what you would expect from Fiskars. These are sturdier than any of the previous pruning shears I have in my shed for a fraction of the price of some of them and you don't have to worry about these wearing out or falling apart. Don't waste your money on store brands and please don't waste money like I did on those "pro" ones in magazines. I highly recommend these or any Fiskars branded products. Worth the money every time.

I wok in my garden and with my indoor plants year round and I have just about every available tool that you can imagine ranging from the smallest tool to large garden tools. I have found that the fiskas Pruning shears are one of the easiest tools to work with. They have a nice soft grip that works well that I extremely like and the blades are very sharp and precise, and do not dull as quickly as some of the other shears that I have used in the past. After using these shears and getting them all muddy, or dirty, or full of some kind of sap, the blades tend to wipe down very well and easy. Gardening is a passion with me and these shears make it more fun and less of a job. Compared to other pruning shears, the Fiskas Pruning shears are at a really good price for the work that they do and for what they help you accomplish in the garden or with everyday household plants. I love them and wouldn't switch.
