Fisher and Paykel Two drawer dishwasher Reviews

We bought our Fisher and Paykel double dishdrawer 5 1/2 years ago and I guess we had better luck than some with only a few service calls.  The F1 code flashed after only a few months and mostly it worked well.  The problem now is that it has completely freaked out and fried for no apparant reason.  We use the top drawer mostly every 1-2 days and are very careful to always keep the drain clean and not over crowd it.  But now the service to repair it will be over $500!!!  What the He__!!  I would expect a high end model that this claims to be would provide more than 5 years of service!!  We...

I have the two drawer F&P. The drawers would not open.  You have to disconnect the power, to reset the machine.

The drawers leak.  I have been waiting 3 months for this to be repaired. Everytime I call, I am told  that they are waiting for the parts from F&P.

This is a very expensive lesson to learn.  My single door Kitchenaod was working after 12 yeare when I changed, just because my wife wanted this new F&P dishwasher.

I love the concept of a dish drawer - and most of the time am satisfied with this one HOWEVER, you must be very skilled at loading it and sometimes coax it along. In general, it cleans well but has many limitations due to the configuration of the racks and the overall size of the drawers.
