not only is the Fisher&Paykel two drawer dishwasher attractive and convenient it is also very eco friendly !!! The top drawer can be used for everyday use and of you need a large load then just use both drawers. The two drawers run independent of each other so it is easy to use the top drawer for dishes...

the concept behind this is more than awesome.  There are only two of us in my house, so the thought of being able to wash a smaller amount of dishes for the most part was great.  For this I love the drawers.  Also, I like that you don't have to open the door all the way and then pull out a drawer. ... review »

I was truely impressed by the looks and technique of this dishwasher.  My husband and I are the only ones that I have to cook for so the top drawer was plenty for us to use.  One day I opened the bottom drawer and just about fell over from the horrid smell that came out.  Water collects and does not drain when you run the top one since they are 2 separate units.  I notified customer service of Fisher and Paykel of which their only response to this problem was it was not a defect in the system and that it was supposed to do this.  So if you buy one of these be sure to run both drawers and... review »

In 2004 I purchased a Fisher-Paykel Double Drawer dishwashing unit. For a short while it worked. Then, the Jet Dry fluid holder leaked and was repaired twice under warranty. After the warranty, it leaked for the third time and was no longer used. Guess what: it made NO difference to the quality of the wash. It was clean with Jet Dry and clean without it.

Under warranty, the F1 light came on, indicating a flooded drain pan. The repairman also had to install a new mainboard. The repair approached about $300.00. There were a few other visits for minor hassles. I was so furious at the constant...

Spent $1200 about 4 years ago and have had nothing but trouble out of it.  It was fairly quiet when I first installed it but now it sounds like a yetti.  The first problem was a rinse holder that leaked jet dry all over the floor.  At least that happened when it was still under warranty.  Last week, spent $300 to get it fixed as it was leaking all over the place and I was getting the fill failure icon on the display.  Less than a week later, the fill failure icon is back.  I'll hang on to this piece of crap long enough to get a Bosch (like I should have done in the first place).  I will...

I owned this dishwasher for 6 years in a busy home with 4 children.  Thank God I had a home warranty service for those 6 years!!!!!   This dishwasher is very finnicky and even the appliance repair people said the same..........they knew us by name since they made so many service calls to our home.   This dishwasher was broken more often than it was able to be used...............tons of problems..........water would not leave the unit and would sit and smell and had to do dishes by hand.........jet dry and dish detergent dispensers would not work............system beeped constantly because...

THis is the most useless dishwasher. Please don't waste your money. Every load i have to rewash at least half the dishes. it has broken down 15 times in 5 years. no drying mechanism, only one jet for water, temperamental, I wish someone had warned me before i spent so much money.

so this seems to be very convienent, but i worry that the tow doors are more of a hassle than a help so i give this a 4 however i have used it recently and it does it's job but still i rather just a normal dishwasher... the look is kinda old school which i don't really like kinda seems like it shoud be in a trailer... not my taste
