I actually traded in my Graco swing for this. My second daughter LOVED this swing. I was always conscious of the wobbliness of this swing when she moved around, especially as she grew bigger. Even after she was to big to put in it she still loved watching the lights and listening to the music. My neice (1 mo. older than my dd) HATED the swing, so I didn't have to fight over it with my sister in law, lol!
Regarding folding flat, it doesn't fold exactly flat, more like a box-- a THICK flat. The way to fold it and unfold it is kind of tricky the first few times and akward after that.
I rated it a four because it is entertaining/soothing for the baby and also cute. It takes up LESS room than the traditional swing. I would recommend the swing, expecially for younger or not so active babies--- when my daughter was 5 months she'd love snoozing for a few minutes while I did the dishes and had her in the kitchen in her swing (on the floor).
