Before our son was born, I searched for a tub that would last him a long time, and would be durable and easy to use and clean. I found the Fisher Price Aquarium Wonders tub, and knew this was the one!
We started to use it when he was only a few weeks old. The fabric sling makes it easy to wash a newborn, without having to feel so nervous. The sling mostly suspends them above the water, so you can wash their little bodies. It also has a pillow to keep them comfortable!
When he got too big for the sling, and he was just learning to sit up, I moved him to the side that has a rubber slip grip and a recline, so it is like a little seat. That was a nice transistion to get him into the water.
Now that he is 7 months old, I have him in the larger area of the tub. He loves to play with the two tub toys that it comes with.
I think he is about to outgrow this tub in about another month(he is 28" long.) But, overall, I think it lasted a long time, and gets him used to being in the water before he goes into the "big" tub!
It is easy to clean, I just use a bit of vinegar and water to wash it out. The drain is a little hard to clean, and since there are 2 sections to the tub, it only really drains out one side, but it is easy to just tip it over to pour out the water.
