The FisherPrice Aquarium Cradle Swing is an excellant product.  My mother-in-law had purchased the first aquarium swing at a yard sale.   It was a well-used, well-maintained product, going through three other babies.  My son was a premie and this swing "fit" him at 5 pounds.  When the mobile stopped working, I bought my son a different swing - which he hated.  I searched the internet for weeks to find him a new aquarium swing!  The gentle swaying motion was "side to side" or could be swiveled for "front to back."  There are six swinging speeds. This Fisher Price Aquarium Swing really captivated my son during some very difficult medical times.  He slept in it comfortably for a long time, and he would ask to go into it sometimes.

On the negative side, the thing really does suck batteries, and I wish it had a plug too, but we never had problems with any of the mobile, the lights or any of the other problems the other reviewers mentioned.  You can save batteries a little bit by changing the settings on the mobile/lights/music.  You can do just music, just motion, or motions, music and lights.  When all 3 are running, the batteries go...

I purchased a Fisher Price Aquarium Cradle Swing for my second child in 2006, this was a nice swimg but very pricey. The material cover is hard to remove for washing but it is a fun, playful color and pattern. A nice feature of the swing is the battery operation but the batteries do not last very long so be ready with backups. I liked the 2 position seat so that when my little guy fell asleep I could just lean the seat back and he would nap in the swing. The music was calming and the adjustable sound level was great.
