We bought this for my son for Christmas the year it came out. He has autism and Elmo is one of his favorite characters. He loved it right out of the package and played with it for hours on end. Annoying, but she loves it!

It's obnoxious, but my daughter couldn't stop playing with it. She got it for her first birthday, but wasn't really into the toy for several more months. I was excited about this toy due to the hype that surrounded it. Unfortunately, this toy only has one use. So, after about a day or so of the same thing, my child was ready to move on. She is a big fan of Elmo, and so I was rather surprised at her lack of interest in the toy overtime. For the $40 dollars I spent on this toy, I was hoping it would be more engaging.
