Most HelpfulI had a booster high chair for my daughter when we lived in an apartment 3 years ago and loved it. We didn't have a lot of room so we loved being able to add her booster to a regular chair and take it away when having company.
We finally bought a house when expecting our second child. I got rid of the booster because I was so excited to have space in my kitchen for a "real highchair"....but man was i wrong! It was a pain to clean, the tray didnt fit well in the dishwasher, and took up a large corner in my kitchen!
I sold my highchair and rebought the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair and...
review »When researching high chairs before the birth of our first baby, I came across the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair. It almost seemed to good to be true - a full-feature high chair, a low price tag, a space-saver, and convenient enough to take along when we go to grandma's house! Wow!
We started using this chair when our little guy was between 4 and 5 months old. Since it reclines nicely, it was the perfect spot to offer his first cereal feedings. As he grew, the chair adjusted to fit him just right.
He's now 16 months old, and we're still loving this chair! For meals, we can slide...
review »I thought I wanted one of the old style wooden high chairs then we bought a new bar height table and I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Enter the Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair and my problem was solved!
We started using this chair when my daughter was 3 weeks old, she wasn't eating yet but it was a great way for her to sit with us at the table and be a part of the family meal.
I was nervous about the chair scratching the new chairs all up but the rubber feet on it work great and the chair is still in perfect condition. I feel very secure with this chair as it has 2 safety harnesses...
review »The Fisher-Price Space Saver Chair does exactly what it claims: it saves space. Gone are the days of having to add yet another chair to your kitchen table! This seat sits on an existing chair. It's durable, cute, and practical. It cleans up easily and the tray can even go in the dishwasher. It's also relatively inexpensive, and a great item to add to a registry. My only complaint is that both the tray and the seat itself have spaghetti stains from my daughter's food, and I've tried everything to get them out. This isn't a total disaster, since it's going to just get stained again by the next child...
review »We saw this high chair advertised in the newspaper one weekend and were very intrigued by it. Since our oldest was born we moved into our own house where space is very limited. Thanks to this we did not think it was practical to haul up our large high chair to use here. Since we never loved it we were even less enthused about using it with our now six month old.
About two months ago I bought this high chair without reading any reviews. It just seemed like the perfect solution to help our little guy be able to join us at the table for meals and save space. It was by far one of the best things we...
review »I really love the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair. We really didn't want a free standing chair and I wanted something that would last into toddler-hood.
This chair held my baby comfortably when she was just starting solid foods and now that she is almost 3 years old she loves that she has her own chair. The tray is easy to put on/take off and to clean. The seat reclines so positioning a baby/toddler is a breeze.
My only complaints are it is hard to clean the spot between the bottom of the seat and the base. Sometimes I can recline it back all the way to get crumbs out but I can't...
review »I got the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair when I had my first child in 2006. Since then the design has not changed much. I now have an 8 month old baby that we will use this same high chair for. I recently saw one with a different colored cushion on it but other than that it had all the same features. I thought it would be great since we have a small house to not have an extra piece of furniture sitting around, so I opted for the space saver high chair in lieu of a full size model.
For starters the Space Saver says it has a recline feature on it, however I never found that to be terribly helpful...
review »We received these as a shower gift for our twin girls and we really like them. The idea of two highchairs in our small apartment didn't appeal to either of us, so these chairs presented the perfect alternative. I didn't open them until they were able to hold their heads up on their own, which was around 3 months. In retrospect, I wish I would have opened them the day my husband went back to work. Trying to bottle feed two newborns on your own is very challenging. These seats recline back so Baby lays in the seat and that leaves your hands free to hold the bottle. That could have saved...
review »I loved my Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair but with three children, two of them still in boosters or highchairs, I needed more space in the house.
The Fisher-Price Space Saver high chair is compact, using the already taken space of the kitchen chair.
The seat reclines so there are three positions that baby can be in. This is great because when they're just starting solids, they need to be reclined more so than an older baby eating solids. The recline feature is also very smooth moving, making it almost a one hand change.
The seat also offers a three position height option that makes it...
I purchased a fisher-price space saver high chair when I was expecting our first child. I thought it was a practical way to save space and the price was also affordable. When my son arrived in 2006, when placed in the high chair he was tiny and looked just like a newborn does the first time you put them into a car seat. As you know baby's quickly grow and he did. The high chair adjusted with just one hand and very simple to put together. Then in 2008 we had the arrival of my daughter, I then purchased another fisher-price space saver high chair for her. The high chair fits on a standard...
review »I am a Mother of twins. I was really dreading having to purchase highchairs because of the cost. I also live in a condo, so I don't have a lot of space. I saw the Fisher Price Space Saver highchair and decided to try them. I love them!
They run around $54.00 each, which means that for the price of 1 full-size highchair I was able to purchase 2 Space Saver chairs! They strap onto your current dining room chair, which is how it saves you space. My dining room chairs have wheels, so it's great for messy dinners. After a messy dinner, I simply wheel the girls right to the bathroom doorway and stick...
