Well worth it..

Pros

    two channels for reception, lets you hear what's going on, power adapter saves battery life, two receivers, inexpensive, night light, power source on/off, Clear sound

Cons
    hearing static, hearing radio transmissions, lots of interference

We are first time parents and we received this as a gift from a dear friend. We were not sure of keeping it but we opened it one day and it was quite nice and we use it almost every day.
It does catch up some other sounds but still its very worth the price.
