I needed a new monitor for baby #5, and decided on this one. I am very pleased with it, and get no interference from anything.  It is perfectly clear in reception. Also, my model has a vibration setting so that you can have the volume down but still know when baby gets to crying.  Also, you can take it outside with you when doing yard work or something, and it works then as well.  I also like that you can have the monitors plugged in, or you can have them just run on batteries. It is a nice compact monitor system and it works well. I also love that it has 2 receivers so I can leave one with hubby and he can get baby sometimes too.
