Sounds and Light Monitor was my favorite.

Pros

    power adapter saves battery life, I woke up to my kid, inexpensive, power source on/off, Clear sound, two channels for reception, lets you hear what's going on

I had gotten two monitors for my shower, tried the first one (can't remember the name) and I didn't like it very much, a lot of static and interference and what not. So I tried the Sounds and Lights Monitor which I had also gotten, and loved it. It's so clear. I can plug it in which is a bonus. And I can watch TV or do the dishes while my daughter is napping. It's very sensitive to any sound so I can even hear the buses and some cars through the monitor as they drive by my daughter's window on the second floor!
