Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider Review Summary
The Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider is a unique piece of baby gear, which is primarily a baby cradle that glides back and forth. The seat swivels an entire 360 degrees making it so baby can rock in any direction, though it doesn't move unless it is powered by batteries. With the smooth gliding motion and comfortable cradle area, the
Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider helps baby feel cozy, almost like in mom’s arms. Those who liked the glider... rave about it. One grateful mom states "she would sleep for hours and straight through the night. She was comfortable and it felt like i was still holding and rocking her." Several others though shrug and say “We really wanted to LOVE the Soothing Motions Glider, but ended up only liking it.“ What is the major downfall of the Soothing Motions Glider? Primarily it eats batteries (4 D batteries at that) and it is pretty costly for the amount of time baby will

Luckily, I was able to get this piece of baby gear used. I would not have paid the $80 price tag for it. It's BORING! For one thing, my husband thought it was only for girls since it was such a bright yellow. LOL And we had our second son this September.
This piece works great as a small cradle although it is low to the ground. It does not bounce. It will only move using batteries, which can be draining on the pocket. It does a back and forth motion and the seat is able to swivel around. So baby can go side to side, angled side to side, back and forth, etc.
The music is annoying...
