When I found out I was pregnant, I wanted to get a swing because my parents said that the swing was a lifesaver for them when I was a baby.  I thought we would get a lot of use out of it since it three different functions but we have not used it successfully yet and she is 10 months old now.  My daughter was a very high maintenance baby for the first few months and I would really have liked to depend on this swing.   I was very disappointed when I found out the swing did not recline back far enough.  My baby's head just fell over on her chest when she fell asleep so I was too worried to put her in it.  I tried again when she had really great head control, but I still could not manage to keep her head upright.   This swing is rather big.  We live in a small apartment and it takes up too much room.  We recently tried to use it as an infant rocker but my baby did not like that because I had to strap her in.  Hopefully we will get a little bit of use out of it when she she can use it as a chair and get in and out of it on her own. I was also very disappointed in the music.  It sounded out of tune to me and I could not stand listening to it.

I registered for and received the Fisher Price Smart Stages 3-in-1 Rocker before my son was born.  I thought it was a wonderful idea because it was the three in one.  It's a little larger and bulkier than other swing options I loved the infant seat setting.  When my son was first born, we used that the most.  The swing sits a little more straight up than other swings do so he always looked more comfortable in the reclined infant seat position when he was tiny.  It was very cozy for him, he slept very well in it! As he got a little bigger, he enjoyed it on the swing setting.  In fact, we had some problems with him getting ear infections.  He slept all night in the swing for almost 2 months while we were battling the ear infections.  It was too painful for him to sleep lying down.  So the swing was an absolute lifesaver then! The thing I was most disappointed in was the rocker part of it.  The base was too bulky.  We ended up packing it up because it took up too much space as a rocking chair.  I thought we'd be using it into my son's preschool years because of the rocking chair feature.  Instead, we packed it up before he was 18 months old.  In hindsight, I wish I had gotten onr of the more compact, space saving swings.

We purchased a swing with some of the giftcards we recieved from the baby shower and I was glad we did! It saved our lives and as a first time mom I felt nervous about putting him into a swing but I easily realized he was quite comfortable and happy! What I liked: The price was great, It had different speed settings, a music volume button, batteries lasted awhile, converts into a rocking chair!! What I disliked: animals swung to close to babies face, not alot of padding, doesn't adjust or recline.  I went out and bought some seat belt harness velcro pads to put on the metal bars of the swing arms because he would lean his head on it. :( That was a bit disapointing. Also, I couldn't really use the animals on the toy loop because they swung close to his face and startled him. Other than that he really loved to rock and it helped us alot in the beginning. I couldn't have made it without a rocker but I wouldn't have minded a different one.

This was a gift to us.  Though just excited to receive a swing for our little one, I wish I had thought more about what type of swing we were going to use.  My daughter loved the rocking motion and looking at the happy little animals hanging overhead, however the angle of the back of the seat made it impossible for her to sleep comfortably in the swing.  Her head would tip forward and her neck looked so uncomfortable and unsupported.  Therefore, we often only used the swing about a half hour a week total.  For such infrequent use, it really became a "space waster" in our small home. When our daughter became a toddler, I pulled the swing off to the rocker position to see if she enjoyed that feature, too.  The rocker proved to be an odd height for her, and she got very frustrated trying to get in and out of it each time.  Now the swing is taking up space in storage.  I am unsure if we will even get it out for our new baby, coming this winter.  Had I been able to select my own swing, I would have chosen a papasan style swing that reclines so the baby can sleep comfortably and safely.

We were given the Fisher Price Smart Stages 3-in-1 Rocker Swing at a baby shower for our first daughter. We used it every day when she was an infant.We now use it for our second daughter and it still looks new.   I love that it can play music. It is quiet when swinging and we haven't ever had to replace the batteries. I also love that it has two different speed settings on the swinging part. My infant daughter loves to play with the hanging toys. The frame folds for easy storage.  The chair is awesome because you can use it as a rocker or you can pull the bar out for a reclined chair. I love the colors of the fabric and that it is easy to clean. If I had to choose one thing that I didn't like about this chair it would be that while the frame folds so nicely for storing the chair does not. I don't know how they would make a safe folding chair for this swing, but it would be the perfect product if it had that.

This Fisher-Price Smart Stages 3-in-1 Rocker in Green is so great I can't stop smiling because I got such a great deal! It was affordable and so easy to keep clean! All you have to do is pop it off and toss it into the washer, and it comes out looking brand new! The infant stage is great to carry around the house! I can take the baby everywhere! He sits in the kitchen and watches me do the dishes! The batteries last forever! It is easy to change from the swing, to the infant seat, to the rocker, and back again to the swing! I didn't have this with my first child and I don't know how I did without it. I received one as a gift when my second was born and as soon as I found out I was pregnant with our third I went out and bought another one! (even tough my seconds child's works perfectly fine still he uses his rocking chair still)! This is a great product I would recommend this to anyone expecting or new moms!

We got this fisher price 3 in 1 swing as a gift when our second son was born.  I am very practical person and if baby equipemnt can provide two different uses then that is just super great for me.  The swing is not oversized and it provides several differnt choices for music and the speed was great for my baby.  It was easy to get him in and out of the top and the cover removed easily for machine washing.  I also love that as he grows you also get the rocker for him to transfer to as a toddler.  This is great and a money saver as you are getting two for the price of one with this product.  I felt the swing was very sturdy and that the fisher price brand had hit the mark with this one.  The neutral colors allows for being a good choice for boy or girls.  The rocker is easily romoved from the base, making it change from swing to rocker very easily.  The music is not too loud, some toys and baby equpment can be overly noisy and downright annoying when playing and I didn't find this one to be that way.

Hello to all the parents out there, I have this beautiful Fisher price swing and its great. My son used it as a swing when he was new to this world, It played peaceful music, i think it had around 5 songs. You could also adjust the music volume to your liking. So it was never to loud or to soft for my son. It also has a cute little mobile with jungle animals that my son loved to play with. this swing use to help put my little angel to sleep when he was really fussy. Now that he is older he uses it as a rocking chair. All you do is slide the chair from its locked position from the swing and there you have a separate chair for the growing child. He uses this chair to eat his snacks and to watch television and he loves it. There is also a little bar at the bottom of the chair to have the chair recline back so my son can drink his favorite drink out of his favorite cup sitting in his favorite chair. A place where a child can relax. A three in one item, this is a great product for anyone with a tight budget. Im still befitting from it.

The fisher Price Swing N Rocker was great for my 11 month from the time he was 1 month up to about 5 months. He loved it when it was used as a swing, but now he is not to thrilled about using it as a rocker by itself.

Fischer price 3 in 1 rocker is definitely worth buying unlike most swings it will grow with your baby. I am not to good with putting things together but the directions were simple and easy to follow. This product is very sturdy and i have never had a problem with it. The cover came right off so you could just throw the cover in the washer for cleaning. I found the speed to be perfect. I got another swing at my shower and it was a little to fast my son screamed when i started it. I found the batteries lasted longer in this swing then the other swing i had. In my mind most things that have mutiple uses is a great and worthy purchase.My son loved the swing as a baby and now loves the rocker as a toddler! I would definetly recomend and have recomended this product to any new mom.
