I bought this for my 30 pound 3 year old last Christmas and the pedals broke off two weeks later.
The Smart Cycle from Fisher Price is such a cool toy! My 3 year old has been playing with his for about 3 months now and he is not bored by it at all! He even sits on it when it isn't plugged in just to ride it!
I love that my son is moving and learning while he plays. It took him a few days to figure out how to go forward since it's so different from his tricycle, but he got it and has even been better on his trike, with good results on a regular bicycle with training wheels!

We got the Fisher Price Smart Cycle for a Christmas gift for my preschooler. It comes with a learning cartridge that must be inserted into the cycle for it to work. The plugs that go into the TV are color-coded so my son is able to plug them in himself. The cycle itself is very durable and made very sturdy. We have not had a problem at all with it tipping over, which was a concern of mine. My son especially enjoys the racing games where he has to pedal the bike to play the game. My son loves his Smart Cycle. He received this for his 3rd birthday and has ridden on it everyday since.
He has even been caught riding it when the TV is off. It is very sturdy and has an adjustable set so he will be able to ride it longer. The games are great, and they have all his favorite characters!
The games were a little hard for him at first, but after he played a few times he became a pro. It is easy to peddle and steer. The games have several different activities to help keep them interested.
This is one of my Favorite Fisher price toys!!
Smart Cycle is the greatest thing since a train! My grandson loves it!!! HE has spent the past two days cycling as hard as his little feet can petal. The game is very educational as well. My grandson is age four, and it's perfect for his age group. It teaches motor skills as well as educational learning.
