Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Review Summary

Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is the "perfect mix to keep his attention and increase his learning capability," according to bjlagee. The Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is a great idea because it allows kids to get exercise while being glued to the TV for a video game. The system connects right to the TV and teaches preschoolers about numbers, letters, shapes and more. Reviewers rate the Fisher-Price Smart Cycle high, but they also think it is expensive, wish it came with an adapter and would like more creative and challenging cartridges for their kids to play.

The Smart Cycle by Fisher Price is exactly what it claims to be "A Physical Learning System"!

What is it?
The Smart Cycle by Fisher Price is a stationary bike that plugs directly into your television.  It is geared towards children ages 3-6 years old.  There are cartridges you can buy separately (it...

I'm kind of torn on this Toy to be totally honest.

We bought it for our 3 and 5 year olds. You pay almost $100.00 for it,then you have the cost of the VERY FEW cartridges that are virtually the exact same concept. Do not waste your money on several games because that part is a definate waste. You really...

I bought this game for my three children.  The one that it was mainly meant for is 5 years old.  He loved the fact that he was going to get one of these!  Then we got it home.  It hasn't been touched.  My older brother and I like to sit on the floor and play the games as we peddal with our hands.  I was very upset that this game wasn't more computer friendly kind of designed.  The graphics were bad, my 5 year old pointed out that his gamecube has better graphics than this game!  The smart cycle was a great investment, now if I only have more time for it!  I doubt that I would ever recommend... read full review »

My four year old received this product for Christmas this year.  I have to admit I was not to thrilled with how much of my living room this was going to take up.  But, as soon as my child was on the bike I soon forgot all about that concern.  My child loved the bike.  The games are fun and educational.  A perfect mix to keep his attention and increase his learning capability.  The bike also allows my child to get some excercize during the cold winter months.  All in all this product is worth the money!

My son loves this product. However, for the cost i think it should be able to have an ac adapter. Im going through batteries like crazy and rechargable batteries are super expensive. Also, it was a pain to put together. the peices wouldnt stay in place. There are not many games to choose from either.  We have the game it came with and the hot wheels one.  So for a $100 system there needs to be more options.

I got mine for only $60 so that might affect my review but I love ours.  I have a 3 and 4 yr old and they can play it for hours.  It's one of the few "educational" toys that puts them on the same level.  They only play it once or twice a week but when they do, they get a lot out of it.  We have the Diego, Hot Wheels, and Dinosaur games and they like them all.

Purchased the smart cycle to help promote exercise espcially for winter time when it's too nasty to play outside.  Kids love it but I would like to see more challenge to ththe price seems fair for e games so the kids will stay interested longer and use it  more.  the assembly was so easy directions were clear and complete.

Smart Cycle is the greatest thing since a train! My grandson loves it!!! HE has spent the past two days cycling as hard as his little feet can petal. The game is very educational as well. My grandson is age four, and it's perfect for his age group. It teaches motor skills as well as educational learning.

My son (age 3 1/2 years) received this Smart Cycle for Christmas 2007 from his Grandma and Grandpa. He loves it! He loves to "race" around the track and "grab" the letters and numbers. He is getting his exercise while also learning very age appropriate information.

Very disappointed in the Smart Cycle.  My 4/5 year old lost interest when he realized he couldn't really control it.  Returned it twice but all seem to work the same.
