Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Review

I'm kind of torn on this Toy to be totally honest.

We bought it for our 3 and 5 year olds. You pay almost $100.00 for it,then you have the cost of the VERY FEW cartridges that are virtually the exact same concept. Do not waste your money on several games because that part is a definate waste. You really dont need them. We have had to return ours 3 times now as there seems to be a slight defect amongst the pedal. After returning it the 2nd time, the guy at the Toys R Us decided that he could do it better than the kids Father. We were back the next day with an apology from him. After a good 3 weeks though, the kids have gotten tired of it and it now sits in the corner by the computer desk CHILDLESS!

I kept having one HUGE thought in my mind though. After the big fiasco with Fisher Price over them recalling practically everything that was in my childrens rooms, Do we really want our children sitting atop a rather large toy from this company that is painted from front to back? We are actually glad that they decided not to play with it anymore as I'm much more comfortable living in my "Mommy Comfort Zone" than having to be worried about a sick child or maybe even worse. Just too bad that we wasted all the money on the product. We have also decided, with careful consideration to everything thats happening to cut this company out of our Christmas. We feel we need to hear and see something more positive and conclusive other than it's okay now and were sorry. My babies are more important than whose name is on the toy.

Anyway since the subject is the toy, at the beginning of this review I was asked would I recommend to a friend and I chose NO. But actually I'm kind of torn because it's a great idea but I just think it was released too soon, probably out of desperation  without getting all the bugs out of it, creating enough cartridges, and I really think it shouldnt have been released by this particular company.....YET!
