Most HelpfulI have always been a huge fan of Fisher Price Toys. I like the concept of the Roll-A-Rounds series because the actual toys will work in any of them. Therefore, if you are missing a part of one, the balls will work on others. It's also nice too because you can build a collection.

This toy has a really easy mechanism, push the balls through the holes and you'll get music, lights and roars of the dinosaur. It has bright colors and you can adjust the volume so that you can still talk on the phone while your baby is enjoying it. We bought this toy for our daughter when she was 8 months old. She just sat and watch her daddy playing with it for awhile. But around 10 months she was really interested in it. She figured out that putting the balls into the holes makes music and light show. She can play with it by herself since then. She's now 14months old and...
review »My son is now two and has been playing with the Drop and Roar Dinosuar for more than a year now. We got it used, but in like new condition; it retails for about $35.00. It is a toy that has grown with him. When he was a little guy, he just enjoyed trying to get the balls in the holes, or watching as the balls went in and then came down the tail or out of the dino's mouth. Now he likes to experiment with cause and effect: "If I put the ball in this hole, where will it come out?" He also likes to dance to the music. The music is pretty tolerable, and though the toy is a bit big, it...
review »My 19 year old grand son talked me into getting the Fisher Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop n Roar Dinosaur for my 10 month old grand daughter because he still has a thing for dinosaurs. It's a bit pricey for what it is though. She gets bored with it really quick. It's also rather bulky so I can't very easily store it when no one is here. There is not even a place for the storage of the balls so I had to find an extra basket for them too. The only things it really does is play cute music as the bals crop through the differant holes. It has the lights and the music and thats about it. She seems to like...
review »I received the fisher price roll-a-rounds drop n roar dinosaur used from a friend after mentioning that I was considering buying my 9 month old a similar toy. I was told that her daughter absolutely loved this toy and I shoud try it. At first I was weary because it didn't seem like it had much to entertain my son for lon, but boy was I wrong. My son loves the music and lights, but even if they didn't work he would be entertained just dropping the balls into the different holes. He loves playing with the balls and we recently purchased extras since they are always disappearing (they work...
review »This adorable dinosaur toy is great for both girls and boys. Our daughter has had this since she was about seven months old (she is now 19 months old), and even though she has gone through phases where she would prefer another toy (you know how it is when they get stuck on a particular toy for a certain period of time and ignore all others), she continues to go back to this toy. It brings her great pleasure to put the balls in the openings, watch them disappear, and then return out of another opening. In the beginning, you could tell that she did not understand the concept, but as time has...
review »My daughter got this as a gift, and I have to say, it's one of the more boring toys she's played with. I was disappointed in the size of the toy (it's HUGE!!) and the fact that it couldn't keep my daughter's attention (and we're talking about a girl that will sit and read books for hours on end). My daughter ended up taking the balls out and playing with them seperately. We got rid of this toy as soon as we could in a rummage sale. The colors were nice and bright, and babies that we had to our house were interested in the toy, but what good is it to them? They can't get the balls in...
review »I would highly recommend the Fisher Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop n Roar Dinosaur. It has a multitude of slides and ramps that keep the little ones interested. The 6 balls that come with the dinosaur are clear with moving parts inside (e.g. dinosaur hatching out of an egg as the ball rolls), which fascinated my daughter. The dinosaur itself is brightly colored with various openings for dropping the balls. The lights and sounds also make this toy alot of fun. This toy foster early fine motor skills, chiefly hand eye coordination as well as casue effect relationships (i.e. drop the ball into a hole...
review »The Fisher Price Dinosaur is great! It is easy to put together which is a plus for all moms and dads out there, we all know what it is like to sit for hours trying to put together a toy. This one will bring your little one hours of entertainment. The peak a boo balls are fun in themselves and with the dinosaur are almost non stop. My boys even liked to roll their cars through the dinosaur! It was always fun and never really seemed to be the same thing, so they did not get sick of it which is really nice. More times than not a toy is enjoyed for a day or two and then tossed to the side...
review »Oh, this is great for a few days...until you really get tired of searching for the balls. Fortunately, when those things are gone-under the couch or fridge, etc. the child eventually forgets about them and starts shoving other things in there-crayons, barbie clothes, matchbox cars...still, when you absolutely cannot get those things out and give in to the fact that they will be there FOREVER, the toy is still quite entertaining and yes...loud. But I'm not one that's too sensitive to that as long as it is kep in their room. So, with all the tunnels blocked, the child can still make the toy produce...
