My son is now two and has been playing with the Drop and Roar Dinosuar for more than a year now. We got it used, but in like new condition; it retails for about $35.00. It is a toy that has grown with him. When he was a little guy, he just enjoyed trying to get the balls in the holes, or watching as the balls went in and then came down the tail or out of the dino's mouth. Now he likes to experiment with cause and effect: "If I put the ball in this hole, where will it come out?" He also likes to dance to the music. The music is pretty tolerable, and though the toy is a bit big, it is not going to take over your whole living room.
The thing that really amazes me, and the reason that I'm taking time to write a review, is the toy's amazing durability. This thing sat outside all winter (under our deck, but still got rained on a lot---we live in Oregon after all!) and it still works! The music plays, the dino roars, and even though it is dirty and spiderwebby, my son still loves it!
This has been an awesome toy, and I would reccomend it to anyone.
