I try not to buy toys for my daughter since we don't have a lot of space nor money, but this classic by Fisher Price was well worth the cost. She loves it and gets a lot of play out of it in many ways. I'll leave it by her side and she'll rock it back and forth, knock it over, and then start playing away. I frequently look over to find her either using the top red hoop as a rattle, picking up and examining the hoops or gnawing the post part. A couple of times I've found her on her back with the large hoop on her leg, which was entertaining to both of us. I had a 6 - year - old visitor to my house and she even loved this toy, using it to set up an obstacle course of sorts. My own daughter hasn't reached the stage where she wants to put the hoops back on the post yet, but I foresee lots more playtime with that skill in the future. Normally I prefer to make my own toys with household objects (ribbons, bowls, etc.) but this was a must-have for us.
