I think I had this same toy 28 years ago...

lover of classic games, happy to play with my kids, interested in fun for kids

    Helped develop pincer grasp, Used over several dev. milestones, inexpensive, 6 months and up

The colors of this toy caught my baby's eyes at a very young age. As he grew he could take the rings off of the stand. Before age 1 he could put them back on in order. I'm not sure if it's memory of the colors or the size of each ring, but it's very impressive to see how a child learns! I don't think this toy has changed in decades, and it's nice to see that they like to play with the same toys you grew up with.
