 I am a mother of two little ones, and with both of my kids we have enjoyed having the Fisher Price Rainforest Melodies and Lights Deluxe Gym for when they were tiny babies. The Fisher Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Gym is a wonderful toy for your little baby!  It's perfect for the non-mobile baby.  My son used to love to lie underneath the canapy and look at the lights, listen to the music playing, and bat at the hanging toys and kick his legs happily!  He would coo and talk to all of his little animal friends.  There is also a mirror for babies to look in which is great for when they're a little older and ready for tummy time.  This is the perfect playmat for tummy time.  There's lots to look at.  The music is fun and there's 2 modes - one that plays songs...

We got the Rainforest Deluxe Gym at my baby shower for my son over 2 years ago. This is the cutest and one of the most interactive gym I have seen. My son absolutely loved every minute he spent playing on this. The mirror was his favorite, but he also was completly infatuated with the music and butterflies and lights. This was quite expensive, but I believe it is worth the money. We got several months of use out of it and he still plays with some of the toys. I also let my cousin borrow this after my son had out grown it, so they got good use out of it too. It is still in perfect condition so...

Okay, so this is great for a few months-those just after the sleep all the time phase, and just before the wiggle all the time phase. As for converting it to a sitting mat for baby...um, well, by that time they are not only sitting, but also scooting. There is no way they would stay on that mat. The  best thing about this is that when they get a little older, the animals make great play things! They last until the age of five or so as role playing toys and tools, especially if your little one loves animals. I don't honestly know what we would do without this product. My baby absolutely loves her rainforest deluxe gym and will spend the most time being entertained there than anywhere else-she loves it more than her bouncer and exersaucer. One thing I love about the rainforest products is that you aren't always stuck with annoying music, you can put it on just rainforest sounds which is nice and soothing. This is a blessing for both the baby and the parents! It's very colorful and has light action as well. I love that it has lots of hooks both high and low so you can move the objects around for both...

The Fisher-Price Rain Forest Deluxe Gym is one of the most stimulating toys I have found for a baby. The colors are bright and cheerful. The toys can be attached at various points on the frame giving the baby various points of reference. You can also add other toys to inhance the visual stimulation with variety. The music selections are pleasant for adults as well as stimulating for the baby. All materals are high quality and durable. The lights will keep a baby occupied for long periods of time as well as being stimulating for the eyes. It is easy to clean and stays looking good with use.

This is a great toy.  My son started out just looking up and listening to the jungle sounds. The different sound options are great, because he enjoyed different sounds at different ages.  Eventually he moved on to playing with the toys hanging above.  Also, the toys were great motivators to get him to roll over.  There are a few things on the mat which are great for tummy time as well.  Great toy.  Well thought out.

The best toy for a newborn. Makes them active, they start to use their hands and their entire body moves around to reach the colorful hangings up. Keeps them occupied for a part of the day..

Great gym, very colorful, nice musical tones, animal sounds. My daughter loves it since she was 3 months old.

My baby loves this toy and it keeps her entertained for hours!
