Fisher Price Rainforest Cradle Swing Review

I first received the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Cradle Swing when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I had a baby shower and received this as one of my gifts. It was among my favorites before I even had my baby girl. Soon after her birth, though, I found that it was an absolute necessity. I found it very hard to get my baby to sleep at night in her crib. I started to put her in the swing and I found that it was the only way she would sleep. I began to rely on it for every night for the first couple months of her life. I now have another daughter and she is two months old. I use the swing for the same use now. She will not sleep anywhere else. I enjoy the fact that both of my children felt comforted by the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Canopy Swing. I like the fact that it plays many songs, I believe more than ten. Some of the songs are for sleeping and others are for playing. It also has a mobile that contains many jungle animals like monkeys, frogs, and parrots. The colors of the swing are very bright including bright neon greens, yellows, purples, and blues. There are monkeys and elephants on the seat as well as other rainforest animals. The baby seat can swing in two different directions simply by the press of a button. It cans swing side to side and front to back. I had the swing next to by bed so it had a limited amount of space between the bed and the wall. This feature allowed me to fit the swing beside my bed just by changing the way the swing would move. It had an incline that could be changed as well. The baby could sit up for play time or lay down for bed time. Personally, I used the swing only for bed time. My girls enjoy playing on the floor. I also like the fact that the swing runs on two optional types of power. The swing can be plugged into a power outlet at home to save batteries or run on battery power when an outlet is not available. I really liked this feature because batteries are really expensive and for as much as I use the swing, i would have probably gone broke. I am really glad that I have received this swing as a gift. By researching, I know that the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Canopy Swing is very affordable and totally worth the money. I am very glad that I have had the opportunity to get it because it has made my life so much easier. I personally have gotten a lot of added nights sleep because of it. Sometimes when we travel I have taken it with us on many different occasions. It is easily folded to take with you. It is a tad bulky though as the baby seat part never folds down any more so it takes up some space. My oldest daughter is now two years old and while she is too big to lay in the swing anymore I find that she enjoys putting her babies in it to pretend. I like to watch her. I believe this product to be very safe. I feel comforted knowing that my children have been in it and have had no problems. There is a five point harness on the swing so it ensures that the baby is safe as long as the parent buckles them in. Also, there is a liftable food tray that can be lifted as a way to easily get the baby out of the swing. There are dials, switches, and buttons on the swing all with pictures to easily tell what each of them do. I have had no trouble using this swing and it is very easily put together once out of the box. I believe I put it together by myself and have dissembled and reassembled it a couple times with absolutely no problems. I would reccomend this prioduct to any new or experienced mom. It is very much appropriate for both boys and girls since the colors are very bold but neutral. Also on the top of the swing there are three big green leaves that circle above the mobile so that the baby can watch the animals as well as the spinning leaves. I enjoy watching the baby while he or she is in the swing because they watch the mobile so intently. I think that this swing is better than other swings because it is large enough to make the baby feel secure but also small enough as to not take up a lot of space. This was very important for me because my bedroom is the not the largest. I found that this swing was my favorite baby shower gift and while i received two different brands of swings, this is the one i chose to keep and i am so glad that i did. I would reccomend this swing to anybody who was swing shopping. Whether you are having a baby boy or a baby girl I believe that this is the swing to purchase. I would also reccomend giving this Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Cradle Swing as a gift for any baby shower. This would surely make any new mother to be very happy. This is definitely one of my favorite must haves for new motherhood.
