Fisher Price Rainforest Cradle Swing —

I rocked my daughter to sleep and then held her while she slept for the first seven months of her life. When I finally needed a break, this swing was fantastic! I could put her in the swing instead of holding her constantly while she was sleeping. I loved that I could plug it in and not waste money on so many batteries, but if I wanted to set it up outside I could run it off the batteries. I could also move the swing (it folded) outside WHILE holding the baby. This swing was pretty eas to clean also. THe entire fabric seat could be washed and was great when my daughter spit up all over it! THe only trouble with that is that it stretched out after repeated washings, but that is expected. It still worked just fine! I really loved having this swing, but for the price, I never would have bought it for myself. It was a gift that we did not ask for, but we loved having it. The changing direction feature wasn't that big of an advantage to us because my daughter is a creature of habit and after we let her rock in the crade "side to side" motion, she didn't want to be changed to the "regular" front to back motion. The motion of the mobile was really cool though! She thought it was such a cool toy, but it was really soothing also. She was also able to use this swing for a long time. It had a lot of power to it, so when we turned it up to the highest setting, it kept swinging even when she was a heavier baby. Absolutely a great swing- again, not one I would have bought myself, but am so happy to possess.
