I'd have to say I am neutral about the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top swing. I did not like it...but I did not hate it either. I bought this swing for my son after using a Graco swing for my daughter. The things I liked about this swing were that it has 6 speeds and 12 songs...in a variety of soothing and playful depending on the mood of your baby. I like that the swing swivels to swing front to back and side to side. My son really liked the mobile. I also loved the fact that you could choose AC or battery power, that was very convenient.
Now the things I did not like. As soon as I put it together it just seemed to be made very cheaply. The seat itself was made of thin flimsy plastic (compared to other swings). It had 6 speeds, but even on the highest it did not swing very high. The seat has 2 positions, up and recline. It reclined nicely but did not sit up very far. My son is large and active so he was constantly trying to be sitting up. Even at 4 months old. My son was not very entertained by this swing at all.
