Fisher Price Rainforest Baby Bouncer —

I received a Fisher Price Rainforest Bouncy seat at my baby shower.  It is the first thing we put together when my son came home from the hospital.  And 6 months later, it is still being used almost daily!

Not only is this bouncy seat adorable (I'm a sucker for monkeys and animals) but it is very soft and comfy.  The seat has a patch of velour on it that was wonderful when my son was just days and weeks old.  I didn't feel bad laying him in it!  And even now that he is much bigger (he is 18 pounds now), he still fits in it comfortably. And he really seems to like it!

It has a buckle so he can't fall or climb out.

And it has some toys hanging from it.  He used to just look at them.  But now he is able to hold and touch them.  And when you touch them, it makes music.  Of course, that means you need to have working batteries in it...which I don't like.  But the baby likes the music so it makes me want to keep the batteries in it!

It also vibrates, which he likes.  Sometimes it puts him to sleep!

I use this seat every day when I take a shower, so that the baby can be in the bathroom with me and I know he is safe and not getting into anything.  He likes the bouncing and the music so it is good for both of us!

This seat can be bought almost anywhere baby things are sold.  Mine was bought at Wal-Mart.

I think a bouncy seat is a must have when you have a little baby.  It is very helpful for those times when you just can't hold him but you need to know he's safe.
