I couldn't have lived without this when my daughter was an infant! We put her in it from the time she was a few weeks old, and still use it occasionally now (at eight months). She is big enough now though that she can really get it bouncing very hard, so I have to be right there with my foot on it if she uses it now. It was indespensible when she was littler - I could put her in it and now that she was safe and entertained, and she took many naps in it. It is also portable, so it could go in the kitchen while I cooked or did dishes, or in the bathroom while I showered. The model that I have did not come with any type of head support, so I had to use a rolled-up receiving blanket to keep her head from flopping over before she had good head and neck control. After about 4 weeks of use, the lizard on the toy bar got stuck and made a loud clicking noise - so loud that we couldn't use it. I called Fisher Price and they offered to send me a replacement toy bar, no questions asked, unfortunately it took almost 7 weeks to arrive because it was backordered but the new one still works fine. I think that Fisher Price toys, overall, are durable and a good value, and this bouncer is no exception.
