This is going to be a horribly excellent review.Let me explain... My baby girl who was four months old about nine pounds was in the cart in walmart just being as sweet as usual, and I always spoil great behavior so I purchased a baby swing the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Take-Along Swing. It is absolutely adorable and the music is perfect not too calm not too fast and it was sooooooo..... easy to assemble. Well I put my nine pound four month old baby in her swing that is for birth to twenty-five pounds. I 'm sitting on the couch while she is swinging in the middle of the living room thinking about how great this swing is for the price and I have always trusted Fisher Price products , so I pondered about how great it would be to bath, cook and clean which all new moms know is a pleasure not a necessity in these early months . Right before I am about to straighten up since my little angel was lulled to sleep by that sweet calming music the straps loosened and her little head fell in between the bars and as it swung back SLAM right on her vulnerable precious little head as I am running to her rescue she flops over NOT BREATHING bent in half. So I rushed her to her doctor which said if it wasn't for me being in the room watching her the damage could of been permanent.Any newborn baby with a hard bump to the head and then stuck bent in half where her breathing was cut off is very serious.I of course once my angel was safe called Fisher Price and explained that the edge of the seat looks as if it is supported but it is actually just sewn to appear as if it has support and the straps are not for a baby under 15 pounds who cannot hold her weight up. I am not going to go on about how they handled it but I will say it was with out compassion and did not meet any of my needs and I am in fear that they are not going to recall this product in order to fix the weight and age requirements because sadly when a company becomes too big five injuries isn't enough children hurt to send out a recall. But I will admit that if your baby can hold up his/her weight and is about 15 pounds it is a very nice swing which is hard for me to say due to my experience but I must put emotions aside and remember a review is suppose to be 100% honest or it's just an opinion
