Love It! All babies should have this toy. I did not have this with my first two kids, so when my third child came along and I got one has a gift I was thrilled. This is supposed to be a crib toy that attaches to the rails for use as a soother. It will work in this capacity, but depending on the age of the baby it may also backfire on you. My son loved to watch the fish and listen to the gurgling water, but once he fell asleep, if he hit the toy or activated it, it starting playing again and then we would wake up again. Now don't get me wrong, this is still an amazing toy for a baby, I just prefer it be used outside of the crib. It plays many different tunes, or just play the sounds of the ocean. It is soothing to watch the fish move, and baby can make the other creatures move by pushing buttons. It does seem to go through batteries very fast, if you use it every day like we did. This is so much fun for babies and toddlers, and will lull them to sleep, I just recommend you put it on the dresser or other table, so baby can't turn on during the night.

Love this product! We have has several aquarium's on our kids cribs and this is the only one that has lasted! The music on it is very soothing and we loved the option of using, sound, light, and movement all at once or just individually. My daughter was mesmerized by this from day one. She has a sharp attention span pretty early on and this was great at night when she was fussy and couldn't soothe herself to sleep. The only down side was that our remote never worked. It proved to be a minor issue and had I called and asked for a replacement I'm sure they would have helped me out. That is the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10! Overall, wonderful product. My daughter is almost 6 and it still hangs on her headboard and she uses it every night!

I love, love, LOVE this crib toy. We received it as a shower present when I was pregnant with my daughter 6 years ago. It is so cute and the fish and bubbles are fun to watch with your children. The sounds of the soft music helped put her to sleep at night, and made me quite comfy while I rocked with her in her room, as well. If I needed to lay her down for 10-15 minutes to vacuum or take a quick shower, the light and bubble features would keep her captivated and happy while in the safety of her crib. When she woke up in the middle of the night to nurse, the music would quickly help soothe her back to sleep. As she got older it became a fun toy for her to play with after she could pull herself up in her crib. Once she was ready for a big girl bed it became a toy to play with in bed at night. Then when my son was born we did the same routine with him. He also loved the soothing music and it would help put him to sleep rather quickly. He also played with it as the months went by and he was able to pull himself up. We still have it now, and plan on letting a good friend use it when she has her baby a few months from now. It's such a good product, and I would almost call it a must-have. :-)

We received our Ocean Wonders Aquarium when I was pregnant with my daughter. She has always fallen asleep with the Ocean Wonders on, and when we moved her to a twin size bed we actually hooked it on her new bed even though it's meant to be a crib toy. She is almost 3 now and still loves it! She learned from a very young age to hit the button and turn it on to soothe herself back to sleep in the middle of the night. When she was really little, I loved the remote option. I could stand in the hall and point it into her room when she woke up at night and she would go back to sleep. I would buy this again and again!

I was excited to receive this product during my baby shower.  When I registered for it at the baby store, I thought it was a bit on the expensive side, but now that I am a user, I realize how well worth the money it truly is.  I have had one of these for the past few years and it has soothed two children to sleep each night of their lives.  The product has several options with lights/songs/sounds which is nice to customize to what the baby prefers.  The product also grows with the baby.  My toddlers loved to play with the songs and lights when they were old enough to go to sleep on their own.  This really helped soothe both of my children when it was time to sleep on their own.  It also made for a nice bedtime routine with the kids.  It gave them something to do instead of focusing on not wanting to sleep in their own rooms (for naps and nighttime!).  I always give this as a baby shower gift knowing just how much it helped me as a first time mom.  Perfect gift.  It was a life saver for me.

I am a pretty bare-bones kind of Mom - I don't buy toys that use batteries - and we hardly have anything made of plastic in my son's nursery.  But one day when he was really little, we were at a friend's home and he took a nap in her son's crib.  Well, her son had this acquarium.  My son loved it.  So, after a lot of throght, we got him one.  And I'm actually really glad we did.  He's a toddler now, and still loves it.  We put it on every night before he goes to bed and I like that it just plays for 18 minutes.  I figure it's given him something nice to listen to as he falls asleep.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that this acquarium actually has ever soothed him, but it has entertained him for many months.  Now he likes to turn it on himself when he wakes up - he lays there and stares at the bubbles and fish moving.  So even though I'm not a big fan of plastic and lights - this has truly ended up being something we all appreciate.

Which of my THREE children don't LOVE this?  None!  My Eleven year old, being the kind babysitter she is, plays I-spy games with my other children with the OceanWonders Aquarium!  My five year old likes to dominate it, by all of it's different options, she feels great "making it do things".  At the heart of all of this, though, is the reason we bought it.  First, we researched.  SO many parents had found this to work to soothe a baby who wasn't so sure about being on his own in his crib while he was still awake, but it was time for bed.  Secondly, we priced it out, and came to the conclusion that yes, we don't have a lot of money, but is there REALLY a price on our sanity?  And third, we just did it.  The first night we had this, our son was enthralled.  He loved the lights and the music that he could control.  Over the last two years, he will awake in the middle of the night and instead of screaming for me, he will either turn on the light portion to feel comfort, or the music to soothe him back to sleep.  For a while, he even used it every morning to signal me to wake up and start our day.  Much nicer way to get up than the screaming that I was used to when my other children were that small.  I can't say enough about this - It's just one of the MUST HAVES!

This is one of my favorite products ever. I got this as a shower gift with DS #1. We used it when he was an infant on the just-music mode and it soothed him to sleep at night. As he got a little older, we used the light and bubble modes to keep him entertained at bed time. When he was old enough to sit up, he began to push the button in the morning to let me know he was awake. He would lie there quite content watching it and I was able to get a few last-minute things done (such as throwing in a load of laundry) beore getting him out of bed. The music is soothing and gentle and my little guy was easily entertained by the cute little fish inside and the lights and motion. It plays a variety of songs so it isn't maddening for adults to have to hear. We have a standard crib and have had no issues getting the aquarium attached. I now have twins and that was the only non-necessary product that I actually asked for a 2nd one. I felt that this was a must-have for us because it was such a big hit the first go-round. My twins both enjoy it this time. As far as cons, like most battery-powered devices it does drain batteries quickly. We just use rechargeables. Changing the batteries is a hassle because the entire unit has to be taken off the crib to access the battery panel. It also does accidentally turn on if bumped, but all you have to do is touch the button once to shut it back off.

The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium is one of the nicest looking crib soothers out there.  It's just adorable.  The little shimmery fish moves as well as some other sea creatures.  It's got a nice sleek look to it, with easy to use buttons.  The big blue button is easy for little hands to touch.  The music is perfect.  I always turned it on when nursing my daughter to sleep.  It's so soothing.  I like that it has a variety of music to choose from so you don't get bored hearing the same song over and over and over!  I didn't like to use it with the light though.  It was a bit too bright for baby's crib.  Didn't really promote a restful environment.  However my 2 year old liked using this as a night light.  He loves fishies and would watch the movements and light as he fell asleep. It's easy to attach and detach.  Fits onto my crib perfectly and makes it easy to change batteries if need be.  The remote turn on mode is really cool too!

My son loves his aquarium. He loves that he can turn it on and off himself.  Our batteries seem to not last all that long and that is disappointing as it requires the big D batteries and they are expensive!  There have been times my son is sitting there trying to turn it on and it won't turn on and about two months later I'll change the batteries, oops.  I like the lighting on this aquarium as it isn't too bright to keep him awake, it seems to be soothing to him.  My son likes to flip through the music and find the one he likes best.  It was easy to install on the crib and took no time.  Getting the batteries in was a bit of a pain as well, but no big deal.  One of the fish seems to be tiring out and I hope it lasts for a long time and its just common that this one fish is slower than the rest.  The motor at times seems to be working overtime.  This aquarium seems to be very safe. I can't think of one thing that is harmful on it.
