Fisher-Price My First Dollhouse Review

The fisher price "My first Doll house" is an awesome little house that stands almost 2 feet high and is very well made and durable. My daughter drags it around the house with no problem and it is tough! It comes with a Daddy, Mommy and Baby doll, 2 chairs, a table and a toilet. The toilet lid goes up and down and the people are articulated  to move, so i used this as a potty training teaching oppurtunity with my 24 month old. The house also comes with a one peice stove/refrigerator and sink base. The doors on the stove and refrigerator open. On the bottom level of house there is a phone on the wall, and on the one side there is a clock and a desk with a computer on it. Nothing makes sounds or lights up in the whole house, which makes it better for your child to use their imagination. There is a front door that opens as well. on the second floor there are 2 rooms. One room has a balcony on the side of it. There is no furniture in this room at all. The other room is a bathroom with a built in bathtub and a sink. The top floor is all open and has a built in rug on the floor.There is a snap on patio on the back of the house that is very strong as well. This house will last through the childs playing with it, which is something to consider when paying 50.00 for it. It is solid made. You can buy extra, all kinds of family members, there are grandma's, grandpa's, brothers, sisters, dogs, cats and furniture. But they are expensive. I would recommend just trying the house first to see how your child uses her imagination, before making more purchases. My 24 month old is having lots of fun with just the Daddy, mommy and baby that it came with, and putting the baby on the potty. The house is fully assembled when it comes, all you need to do is snap the patio onto the back of house and the front door stoop onto the front of house and the balcony onto the side. They simply just snap on. It may take 10 minutes if even.
