Fisher-Price My First Dollhouse —

When the Fisher Price catalog came my then 2 YO came running and said this was what she wanted for her birthday. (She's also a fan of Little People) I love that FP toys hold up so well and I can make a couple bucks back reselling them when my kids outgrow them. On her third birthday this was her "big" gift. Boy did I get off cheap this time. She loves it. Her 4YO sister loves it too. I love to eavesdrop and listen to the little stories they make up as they play- often with mom on the computer and the daddy on the toilet. Yup- that little toilet just made the house. It is the hands down fav feature for all my kids, even my 7+9YO boys. I decided to wait to buy the 4 additional acessory sets at Christmas when the original interest may start to wane. That actually hasn't happened yet. I do have the Grandma + stroller and Big sister and bed sets stashed for Christmas gifts. The other two sets, the parent's room, and living room, were sold out in all but one place I looked. Saddly Amazon had them but for 25 each instead of 10 as listed in the FP catalog. I am too cheap to pay 2.5 times retail so those will have to wait. Again not that bad since they should perk interest back up when the house isn't as new anymore. One big bonus is that although my older daughter has been eyeing more sophisticated dollhouses with the accessories this should keep them both happy until they are both old enough to handle something more delicate.
