The Fisher Price Li'l Music Makers Fish Stix Maracas are a great product! The Fish Stix (and who couldn't love a toy with a name like that!) are great for toddlers and young children alike. I got my son the Fish Stix for his first birthday, even though the age on the box said 1 1/2+. He took to them right away and wanted them out of the box faster than I could open it. The fish are brightly colored which keep baby entertained and have a great "shaker" sound, not a cheap sound. They are also large enough to be hauled around and have a great size handle "tail". They are great for learning about rhythm, or just shaking around. The fish have wonderful big eyes that "google" when the fish are shaken, which also add to the fun. The Fish Stix Maracas are a great companion to other Li'l Music Maker toys - or other musical instruments your child might play with. I found them to be a really cute toy that has lasting appeal with my son. It is something he enjoys playing with and will come back to again and again.
