My friend was having a baby and this is one of the items she had on her gift registry. My husband and I wanted to get her something that was fun, cute, yet would be a functional and educational. Granted, the baby wouldn't be able to get the full benefit from this toy until a few months down the road. But we thought, the daddy would have fun with it in the meantime, hehe. I like the looks of the toy. It IS very cute and colorful. The songs the toy plays are not THAT annoying. It teaches basic body parts, letters, and some numbers. The thing I didn't like about it was its unpredictable on/off function. First, when you press certain areas like the belly and foot, its supposed to play a song or name the part you pressed (i.e. "foot"). Yet, sometimes you had to press REALLY hard to get it to work. Other times it wouldn't work. What was really embarrassing was when I was standing in line and it randomly went off, playing the "I love you" song. It did this a few other times too. I think it was motion sensitive as well, lol. Overall, the parents liked it, and hopefully the baby won't mind a possessed toy.
