I like having fun and educational toys for my kids. The Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn: Learning Puppy is one of those kinds of toys. This cute little puppy dog is a great way of teaching body parts like: ears, hands, feet, tummy, and nose! On the puppy the word is spelled out for the part of the body that it is, and when that part is touched or pressed the puppy says what the body part is! So the child has two ways of getting what the body part is. Another great thing about this laugh and learn puppy is that it includes music! Music is so wonderful! Some of the songs that are played from this little puppy is the "alphabet song", "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes", and one of my favorites songs that is played is a counting song that goes to the music of "La Cucaracha". This counting song counts form one to ten in a very fun and cute way, and it is very catchy! This little puppy dog also says the "Pat-a-cake" rhyme and also the "This Little Piggy". It is a great way for a child to play and have fun interactive games and songs. It is very easy for little ones to get the dog to work and make noise; really just the slightest tough will get the dog to do something! However, if you as a parent wants a break from the noise or just want to save the batteries because it is not being played with at the moment, there is an on/off switch in the back. Just undo the velcro of the shirt and the switch is back there with the battery pack area. This little puppy takes three AA batteries. This fun puppy was one of my daughter's favorite toys when she was little. Now that she is two years old, she still plays with this dog but more as just one of her numerous babies!
