The Fisher Price Laugh and Learn kitchen is a pretty good toy for a variety of age ranges. When my daughter was 6 months we bought this toy for her and she really loved the cause and effect aspect of it (when she opened anything of pushed buttins it would play music or make sounds), now that she is older (1 year) she is starting to enjoy putting things in the fridge and stove like she sees mommy doing. She really does not play with it very much anymore though. The kitchen side is very cute and has great sounds and music. The other side, which looks like a bookshelf is pretty much pointless. There is only one thing that makes noise and a 1-page book you can flip through. My daughter never uses the bookshelf side. This was a great distraction when she was around 6-9 months, but now it is a big toy that takes up a lot of space. I would tell someone to buy this, but I would say to buy it used. This product brand-new costs too much to be worth it.
