I bought the Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker as a supplement to the Fisher-Price bouncer that was our primary seat for our first baby.  I had hoped that it would be useable for a longer period of time than the bouncer, but I found it just wasn't for us.  There is very little padding in the rocker, which makes sense since they are trying to make it for use as a toddler chair, but it makes it rather uncomfortable (too much flailing around) for an infant.  The vibration feature is a nice option.  It is heavier and more less maneuverable than the smaller bouncer chair.  My child never used the rocker position once he got older...the chair has too deep a bucket design - hard to get in and out of - and again not very comfortable.  It is also very hard to make it rock - leans back too far.  In  my experience toddlers don't like sitting in chairs much anyway - the floor is better (or a straight chair at a desk where they can draw/color).

Very sturdy and Durable

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I recieved this as a gift from my mother. She got this becasue my son was too big for his bouncer seat. She thought it would be a great gift beacuse it was something that he would grow with. It was a little easy to put together out of the box. The base if made of a sturdy metal and the materialis wasable and easy to take off and put back on. My son was about 3 months old when he started using it. I loved the fact the toys are removable and the chair reclines back. Also there is a kickstand so the rocker doesnt rock and it vibrates. It has everything I would want in a infant chair. The toys are on an arch. The arch is removable and the toys are held on by velcro on the arch. When my son was o...

Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker - Good Investment

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love this Fisher Price Rocker. Bought this for my first son three years ago. The bright colours made it such an attractive option. Unlike other bouncers/rockers, this one holds kids up to forty pounds. The little toy bar has a musical toy that my son loved when he was younger. The vibrations help the baby relax and go to sleep easily. It acts like a bassinet for smaller babies and is easy to move around the house so you can keep an eye on them. It's ability to fold down also makes it easy to store when not in use. I also loved the fact the the seat is removable and washable which takes care of all the spills. So I bought another one for the new baby. Loved the new colours - green,...

The Fisher Price Rocker has been a life saver!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I was given this rocker when my oldest child was born 4 1/2 year ago. It has been one of the few baby items that I consider a necessity. It is uniquely designed so that you can put a newborn into it and they can use it for many years...unless they are just big kids.

My children are petite and therefore can use it longer than many kids. It has fun toys for them to play with when they are very young and a stable bar to keep it from rocking. It also has a vibrator and will adjust to rock if you want it to. There are also straps to hold little ones in place, but you can fold them into a hole in the middle when they get older.

All 3 of my kids have enjoyed this and my youngest uses it daily to drink her bottle in. It is handy and well made.

It is easy to take the seat off to wash it and just as easy to put back together.

I would recommend this to any parent that wants to have more than 1 child because it can be used by so many different ages and is very handy to have.

Great Bouncer

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This was a great bouncer for a second child. Not that it wouldn't be great for a first one as well, but it worked well for our second child because of the older bigger kid. We had the bouncer from the first child but as the second one came the older child wanted to try and sit in the bouncer again. He of course broke the first bouncer with just the metal frame under it. So we went in search of a better one that we could use that wouldn't break as easily. This one worked great, it couldn't be destroyed. We were able to wash it well and now at 15 months and 3 years they both enjoy it as a rocker. I loved this also because I could put him in it and rock it with my foot. He loved sleeping in this and we took it with us on trips because he would sleep in it better than the pack and play. I would buy it again and now it comes in even cuter colors and patterns. The toy bar was the only problem, it was flimsy and pretty pointless.

Wish I bought this sooner!!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this after my son out grew his bouncer seat. I love this seat!!! It is big. It can be used for a long time, unlike the bouncer which he outgrew by 6 months. This has a kick stand type thing attached to it so you can keep it stationary if you need to. It also has 2 reclining positions... which really don't recline much, but they are there. There also is a removable toy bar. We never use it, it is very big and bulky and gets in the way more than anything. But instead of wasting your money on a bouncer... just get this! It will last a  lot longer and you will get your money worth. My son LOVES his chair!!

Love that it grew with my son =)

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My brother had this bouncer when he was a baby. He just started first grade but when he was a toddler I saw he still used and loved his toddler seat. So when I was pregnant I knew I wanted this one. All the other ones on the market are just a bouncer & doesn't grow with your baby. Well my son never liked to be in it pretty much ever sometimes yes but mostly no when he was non-mobile. Luckily like I said it grows with him so now it's his chair in our living room. It's a great place for him to sit & "read" his books. Also when family or friends come over who do have small babies it's so easy to just lift up the bar & pull the seat belt(?) from the back of the bouncer to the front whi...

Fisher price infant to toddler rocker rocks.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We bought Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker for my daughter, because she loved to rock by her self n her carrier. But as she got bigger (she is now 9 months), I had to start leaving the carrier in the car because it had gotten two heavy for me to carry. This chair is great! She continues to rock her self in it and I put it stationary when its time for her bottle. I never put the batteries in it for the vibration because shes calm and relaxed just being in the chair alone. Also, just wanted to comment about a previously written review about sitting up in this chair. My daughter often sits forward in this chair (strapped in of course) and because of the (what I'll call) stoppers on...

this rocker is great!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My daughter is almost 2 months old and she completely enjoys this infant-to-toddler rocker. We first started using it when she was just a couple days old and we needed something to make her feel comfortable. This rocker has soothing vibrations feature and it is great - not too intense but at the same time relaxes your baby.

The rocker feels very sturdy, although it's made out of plastic. It is very easy to assemble. Has bright entertaining colors and the exciting toys. I like that the toy attaches to a side and can be easily removed.

Another good feature of this rocker is that it is portable and is very light-weight (about 8 lb). I didn't have to wash the upholstery of the rocker yet, but ...

perfect as a bouncy seat, or a rocker!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We bought the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker for our son, wanting just a bouncy seat. But the idea of the rocker was just an added bonus. We really like this product. Our baby is just a few weeks old, so we haven't been using it very long, but we are very impressed with the quality thus far. The bright colors and cute designs of the bugs are just an added bonus, it really stands out, and is perfect for either a girl or a boy baby.It is very easy to clean, I have just been wiping it with a damp cloth and it has cleaned up fine.  It also has a vibrating feature, which our little guy loves, and it is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. I am looking forward to when he is a little older so that he can use it as the toddler rocker, I think he will really enjoy that. The brand is a very trustworthy brand, and one that we find ourselves purchasing all the time because it's one we know and love. I would reccommend this product to anyone!

Simple but durable

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This product was bought in 2005 for our first child (girl).  It was the most affordable.  I reshearched many products and this at the time had the highest weight limit, allowing for longer use. The only cons I have are It is very simple & the cow faced away from the baby for whatever reason.  But over all it has been a very well liked seat.  We currently had our 4th child & he loves to spend time in this seat, it's very easy to rock with your foot when you are trying to multi task.  Since it has a 30 pound weight limit I don't have to worry when my almost 2 year old climbs in for a rock.  We bought baby items with the intention of having them thro...

There has got to be better rockers out there!

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

My best friend bought the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Elephant Rocker to keep at her house for when she babysits my son.  Better her big house than mine.  This rocker doesn't fold or collapse, so it takes up a lot of space.  Now that he has out grown it, it is taking up much needed space in my closet.

My friend and I chose this particular rocker for several reasons.  It was one of the reasonably priced rockers in our price range.  They actually have rockers that are around $100.00!  We also liked it because there is a removable toy bar for the baby to reach out and play with.  The other reason was because there is a battery operated ...

Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker gets 2 thumbs up

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We have used this rocker with both of our girls and they both LOVED it! My first loved the swing we had for her as well but our second hated the swing and absolutely loved this therefore she definitely used it more than her older sister. This is a great idea though I wish they had more toy options available to switch them out to keep baby interested. It is also safe to a certain point. My second pretty much was born sitting up... she absolutely hates laying down (still does and she is almost one). We put this chair up about 3 or so month ago because she was leaning so far forward even when in a fully reclined position that she was eventually going to tip the seat over. We then upgraded...

Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker Rocks!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

As a first time mom, I look to other moms for advice and recommendations for the best items and most practical things for my baby. The Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker is hands down, the BEST thing for my baby. She LOVES it. The chair is sturdy with a metal frame that rocks smoothly and easily. The toys are interactive and my baby loves to try to reach for them since they play music and rattle. The colorful padded bar that holds the toys is equally interesting to her as she learns to grab and hold onto things. The chair is reasonably priced considering how much use you get out of it. It is easy to put your baby in the chair and let them hang out, so it's important to get them OUT of the chair a lot to do tummy time too!!

Great, but better for babies than toddlers.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We registered for the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker and got one in our baby shower.  It was a great place to put our baby when he was small, and he would sit in the seat quite content to look around and take in the world and the dangling animals were such an interest to him.  When he got a little older, he began batting at the animals and really enjoyed himself, particularly when he figured out how to pull the handle on the cow and make music.  Now that he's a toddler, he likes to sit and rock in the chair every now and then, but the rocker reclines too far back, even in the "upright" position, for much practical use.  He ends up sitting way back an...
