Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair Review Summary

Praised as one of the best high chairs available, The Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair is described as an inexpensive high chair with “all the bells and whistles that you need.” Considered to be “by far the easiest [high chair] to use,” the Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair adjusts in both height and recline to accommodate baby’s needs at a variety of stages. Although parents state that the tray is easy to remove, be advised that your toddler may also be able to do so, it’s that easy. Some of the features may be over the top for parents looking for a simple high chair, but overall in the words of our very own Jolie “What I found, was despite that low price tag, it wasn’t that basic at all.” Fisher Price also makes the Health Care High Chair in the Ocean Wonders Aquarium Theme and the Rainforest theme.

When my brother in law bought this high chair for us i was instantly in love with it! Very easy to put together. The colors are so bright and fun, the jungle animals make it ambiguous so boys and girls can use it. The plastic over the padding make for easy clean up and you can even toss it in the washing...

This Healthy Care High Chair was purchased in 2001, and we have used it with three children. I particularly liked the advertised perks of this high chair, but I have found that some of the features that looked nice in the store are actually a hindrance at home.

  • Assembly was a little challenging, but we...

I was given the Fisher Price Deluxe Healthy Care High Chair as a hand-me-down when we had our first child.  I wasn't sure if I would really want to use it because we're short on dining space and it seemed like a bulky chair.  However, the benefits have far out-weighed whatever bulk may have existed (I don't even notice that aspect anymore).

The chair has multiple height positions, which is a bonus.  The only problem I have found is that our dining table is a bar-height table and the highest setting on the high chair does not quite reach that height.  Thus, when I sit in the dining room chair...

When shopping for a high chair, I was looking for something that was reasonably priced, light weight yet sturdy, easy to clean, with adjustable height.

There were several high chairs on the market that were quite expensive. Knowing that I was only planning to use the chair for about 1 year with each kid  I opted for the basic Fisher Price Healthy Care chair. What I found, was despite that low price tag, it wasnt that basic at all.

The Fisher Price Healthy Care chair was a perfect high chair for me and my needs. I especially liked that I could easily alter the height of the chair so that it fit appropriately...

We bought the lower end Fisher Price High Chair because it was all we could afford and it looked nice.  We've had it for four years now and it's held up great.  I like the vinal material for the seat it makes it easy to wipe down instead of needing to throw it into the wash because it's cloth.  The removable tray is a lifesaver and fits in the dishwasher easily.  The reclining feature is nice for a newer baby to sit at the table with the family.  It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but works great and holds up well.

I did a lot of research for high chairs and settled on the Fisher-Price Healthy High Chair. I love the removable insert tray. It was extremely easy to get the tray on and off and I never worried about pinching my child in the seat. The padding was fairly easy to remove and wash. The bonus toy attachments kept my daughter happy while waiting for food to be ready. I loved being able to angle the seat as she grew with the high chair.

Overall it is a wonderful chair for a reasonable price and wears well.

Very versatile highchair.  The height adjustment lets you use it wherever you want.  I am on my third baby with this highchair and I have never seen/used a better one yet.  The dishwasher proof trays are awesome and it is very simple to get baby in and out of the chair.  Easy storage of highchair ~ just hate trying to find a place to store the trays.  All around, a wonderful chair.

My in-laws got us the Fisher Price Healthy Start in 2004 or 2005.  It has lasted very well. It is very sturdy; I had very little concerns about it tipping, even when we had two to four two-year-olds over in cramped quarters for storytime.  It was great when our second child was young, especially; he sometimes napped in it, and in our small apartment it was easy to keep on eye on him while he did.  The straps are secure. The height adjustment is nice, allowing possibility of drawing it up to and under a table. The d/w-safe snap-in tray is nice, simplifying clean-up some.

However, the removable chair...

I received the Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair as a baby shower gift when my four-year-old daughter was a baby.  I had registered for the seat, and I liked the look of it.  I thought that it was one of the best on the market.  I was very happy when I got it, and I am still very pleased.  The trays snap together very easily and the dishwasher safe tray is a life saver, even though it is a little difficult to fit sometimes.

The seat lasted my daughter until she was about two.  She has always been big for her age, so the straps were getting tight.  I love the seven different heights the...

When you look for a baby chair it's important to not just buy the first one you see or one that your friend has that looks cute.  The baby chair that you buy has to fit you and your house as well as your baby.  It has to be durable, because that cute little baby will one day (probably sooner than you think) be big and destructive.  Babys don't mean to be destructive, they just are.  The baby booster chair should be easily wiped out, because believe me, it will need to.  It needs to be safe because as the baby gets older, you are going to want to put your adorable little bundle of joy into...

This high chair is great! It took less than ten minutes to assemble, which meant we could use it right away. The material on the chair is easy to wipe down, and the detachable tray is great. I can just give it a rinse, and the mess is gone. I dissemble the straps every once in a while and run them through the washing machine.
The chair seems very stable, I've never felt it was anywhere close to tipping over. The harness is nice too since my son is a squirmer. It also has wheels which make it easy to move around. The seat material in not cheap vinyl , the Rainforest highchair is a high quality material...

I bought this high chair when my daughter was about 6 months old. Sometimes she would actually fall asleep in it, so I guess that means its very comfortable. The Fisher Price Healthy  Care High chair that I have, the actual seat  part that the kid sits in is plasticy. I liked that because it was very easy to clean it. I really like how you can change how high the high chair is, it has  I think it's 5 different settings. I keep it on the lowest so that my daughter can climb up in it. A thing that I really dont like about it is the tray. First of all, there is a tray on top of the tray and you...

This high chair was purchased for my first child and I am now using it with child #2. It still looks like new! The vinyl seat is removable and very easy to clean. This seat is also cushioned for a comfortable seat for child. There is a top tray that snaps off the main tray. This removable tray can go right in the dishwasher, so it is also a breeze to clean. I like that the chair has lockable wheels. I can unlock them with a flip of a switch and wheel the highchair around with ease. The back of the seat can recline or be fully upright. The height of the chair can also be adjusted up and down. This...

The Fisher Price deluxe healthy care high chair is a good and practical high chair.  Even though we purchased this one used it is still in good condition.  This high chair reclines and can be adjusted to height using seven different levels.  It's backing is vinyl but is still a good looking color and would be usable for both a girl or a boy.  There is a head rest set into the vinyl covering that supports baby's head well.  The covering is removable and is easy to clean.  The chair's tray has two pieces that can be taken apart.  There is also a chew toy the baby can enjoy while sitting...
