I was given the Fisher Price Deluxe Healthy Care High Chair as a hand-me-down when we had our first child. I wasn't sure if I would really want to use it because we're short on dining space and it seemed like a bulky chair. However, the benefits have far out-weighed whatever bulk may have existed (I don't even notice that aspect anymore).
The chair has multiple height positions, which is a bonus. The only problem I have found is that our dining table is a bar-height table and the highest setting on the high chair does not quite reach that height. Thus, when I sit in the dining room chair to feed baby girl in her chair, I find myself hunching over. However, I recognize that we would have the same problem with any high chair on the market, unless we purchased one to clip onto the table. I think it would behoove high chair manufacturers to note these types of tables are somewhat in vogue at the moment and, thus, to build high chairs accordingly - but it's not a big enough deal for me to truly complain.
My favorite thing about this high chair is the removable trays. My neice has a high chair that also has this feature. Her trays, however, are very easy to remove - to the point where she has begun removing the trays herself (at 18 months old) and dumping the food on the floor, thus negating the benefits. The trays on this high chair do not suffer the same fate. They snap in quite securely - I know I have to use muscle to snap them off, so I have no fears that my miniscule daughter will be able to complete the task herself - unless she's stronger than her mama, which I highly doubt. Thus, I am secure in knowing she can't undo these trays, but I certainly am able to remove them and place them in the dishwasher as necessary. I love that!
The lining on the seat is a durable material that is easily wiped clean (not quite plastic, but not cloth, either) - another bonus when dealing with feeding a 7-month-old who prefers to weild the spooon herself! The seat also features much padding - I wish our dining room chairs seemed this comfortable!
When feeding time is over, the entire tray table pops off very easily in order to remove her from her seat. The five-point harness is also very secure and easy to use.
Overall, we love this chair! Of course I'd never complain, with it being free - but I would say it's worth paying for!
