Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat Review Summary

Highly recommended by Viewpoints reviewers, the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster is considered “very sturdy” and “highly portable.” Although the Healthy Care Booster Seat “doesn’t fold up much smaller,” it is still lightweight and easy to carry with the included shoulder straps. Fisher Price’s Healthy Care Booster attaches easily to any chair with a high back and “disappears” when you push the chair under the table. Our reviewers suggest the Healthy Care Booster is great for restaurants, family gatherings or an “unobtrusive alternative to a high chair in the home.” The Healthy Care Booster adjusts both in height and tray position, but does not have any recline, making it best for after baby can sit up on their own. Easy to use and easy to clean many parents feel they “would be lost without this booster seat.” Make your decision by comparing the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster to similar chairs

The only reason I don't take the Healthy Care Booster everywhere my two-year-old and I go is because most people I know with toddlers in their lives already own one. The booster is perfect for taking to restaurants, friends' and relatives homes, outdoor picnics, and even as an unobtrusive alternative to a high chair in the home. My little HRH uses a Stokke Kinderzeat to eat at the table with me at home, but I wish I'd known about Fisher-Price's excellent booster when she was novice to solids. For children old enough to sit unassisted, virtually any chair with a back can be a high chair if the… read full review »

As first-time parents we walked through our local Babies R Us looking at all the baby gear trying to find all the essentials in baby equipment, we came to the point of where we needed to find a highchair. This should be one of the easiest tasks on the list right? All you need is something to strap your child in that has a tray that you can sit food on. Well, as we stood there looking over all the different types of highchairs we began to think of certain things we hadn't before. —      For instance, we have a small house, which comes,… read full review »

I never had the spare room for a high chair, didn't matter how small it was, it just wasn't going to work.  So I thought I'd give this seat a try because it was afforable, straps right onto a kitchen chair and can also be used without the tray at the table. — My daughter is almost 3 years old and still uses hers as a booster seat at our table.  We loved this seat so much, her baby sister now has the exact same one. — The tray can be adjusted in distance from the baby as your baby's belly grows (*hee hee*).  The chair is very durable as well.  It's easy to… read full review »

My husband and I have stated over and over that this is the best purchase made for our baby (now almost 12 months old). We found that prior to this purchase my husband wore some part of his meal home everytime we ate at a resaurant. At the time, our baby couldn't sit in those larger highchairs in restaurants. The booster keeps her strapped in and upright. We keep this in our car and use it EVERY time we eat outside our home. This was initially intended for restaurant use...but we also use it when we visit our parents in another state. It is also our extra chair when we have friends with… read full review »

This really is the only highchair you need!  I ended up selling my full-size highchair at our garage sale when my son was only 6 months old and have never regretted it.  The big ones take up way too much room and have too many parts and crevises to clean.  The Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster is durable, easy to use and clean, gets the job done, and easily transitions your child to sitting at the table with the rest of the family.  The price is right too!  Rather than spending money on a big chair, buy one of these for home, one to keep in the back of the car, and… read full review »

I bought this when my daughter was 5 months and just starting to sit one her own, I put a lite cusion in there until she could sit by herself, and have been using this for 2 years now.. this was the best investment I could ever make, this is portable and does not take up much space. I leave it at my mothers house most of the time but it is very esy to fold up and transport.. now that my daughter is 2 1/2 I still use it as a booster… read full review »

We love this car seat and keep it in our car all the time.  Its small and easy to move around and we have found we needed it several times.  Yesterday, in fact, we found ourselves going out to lunch with one group of friends and dinner with another group of friends.  At both lunch and dinner, the restaurants we were at were out of high chairs.  This seat works great in lieu of a high chair as it will fasten to a seat, allow the child to reach the table, and you can buckle them in so you don't have to worry about them sliding off in a booster. — — One of the… read full review »

I purchased the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat for my oldest daughter when she was about 8 months old. We already owned a Healthy Care High Chair, so I knew the removable tray was something I wanted. I liked the convenience of putting them in the dishwasher. I also really like my kids to SIT STILL when they are eating, so it was important for me to be able to strap them in and keep them corraled. For the first year or so, we used this a few times a month. When my daughter began sitting in a regular chair at the table, we just strapped the booster seat onto the chair and she was able… read full review »

It goes everywhere with us - we use it both on chairs and on the floor, in a pinch. The seat is very convenient to use and easy to carry. When our daughter was not old enough to sit without support, we used the seat in hotel rooms so that she wasn't rolling around on hotel floors while we were both busy working, packing, etc. — — Our only genuine complaint is that there are only three settings, so most of the time, the tray is either too tight against the tummy or is far enough away that a lot of things slip between the tray and the lap. We solved the problem by using bibs with… read full review »

This was the best shower gift I received! My husband and I travel a lot to visit our family and we would be lost without this booster seat/high chair. It is so easy to use and clean that we ended up getting rid of our big high-chair and bought a second one of these that we use at the kitchen table. I love that it folds so compactly and I can just sling it over my shoulder to carry it wherever we're going. I have recommended this to all of my friends and recommend it to anyone that read this. This is one of the best baby products out there! And I mean this all very sincerely and truthfully!… read full review »

We have owned this booster since my second child was ready for solids.  It is not infant friendly (as in, it has no reclining capabilities), but for toddlers, it's the best.  We have had no problems with being able to clean it as there are no tight corners or belt holes that go into unreachable areas.  It is easy to set up, with two buckles to hold it in place.  I love that the back can fold down so it can easily fit under the table.  It also stores well when not in use since it is compact.  I highly recommend this seat to any… read full review »

This is a great booster seat. I needed to free up some space as my son got older and the high chair was just consuming lots of room. I tried a few other chairs before this one and they were either too small or too difficult to use. With this fisher price chair the tray is plenty big which is great and it even comes with a cover. It is height adjustable and soooo easy to carry along with you, it folds right up and the strap gpes right over your should, I love it. It is very easy to clean and a great buy all around. It is very reasonably priced as… read full review »

We bought our first one to take on a trip for our then 23 mo. old.  It was so easy to use and set up and to clean in the dishwasher.  When we later sold our house, we put away the big high chair and used this instead.  We continued to use this booster seat at our new home.  When child two was born and ready to eat, we put her in the high chair, but only for a short time.  It was much more practical to use this for her as well to save space and make cleanup easy.  We absolutely love this booster… read full review »

We love this booster seat!  We couldn't decide on a high chair so we've been using it in the interim and we've decided that this works well enough so why spend the extra money.  And you can't beat the price!  Its also great that you can take it anywhere when visiting friends - especially those without children (and therefore a high chair).  It is small enough that you can set it on a shelf in a closet so its out of the way if need be.  I highly recommend this product to all my new mom… read full review »

I keep this in my car so that I always have it with me. This is great for every time you go to a friend's house. It is so easy to set up (I have more than once set it up one handed with the baby in my arms! It is SO easy to clean and dishwasher safe but even easier to wipe clean and throw right back in the car. My daughter loves the chair so I assume it's comfortable or else she would hate it. Every one of my friends has it also and whenever a new friend is expecting a baby I tell them this is a MUST registry… read full review »
