Fisher Price GeoTrax —

The Geotrax trains are a nice variety when it comes to the train toy industry.  They are a little more chunky and they can withstand a few drops and bangs.  Each train varies in color, driver, and what types of things they do.  Some of the Geotrax trains are sets, they come with tracks and a variety of trains, freight cars, etc.  I do wish that they were labeled on the bottom like the Thomas toys, with thier names, because my son asks and I have no clue.  Some of the trains have noises and lights.  These are sensitive to water and sand and such, so if your child takes all of their favorite toys with them everywhere, like my little man, then they are bound to stop making noises and lighting up.  They have started making airplanes for Geotrax, but I have not purchased any of these yet.  My son usually role plays and find cargo that he can put in the trailers.  It is great for their imagination and he is always making up stories that the trains are doing.
