Fisher Price GeoTrax Review

Geotrax is a great toy train series for kids (and even adults). My parents purchased a starter GeoTrax set for my son a couple of years ago and we have continually added on to it. Compared to theThomas train set series, GeoTrax is much more affordable and I think more interesting. Some of the set pieces are very innovative. For example, the Windmill which turns when a train runs over a piece of track is neat and interesting to watch. Each major piece and train has a different theme and makes the track interesting. Additionally, most of the trains are battery operated and come with remote controls that are easy for even toddlers to use. Also, they have airplanes that run on tracks which operate via remote on a track.

My wife and I find it interesting to simply disassemble and re-assemble the track and see what different (there are so many) design we can come up with. Additionally, some of the track pieces come with a DVD which features the characters.

All in all, it interesting.
