We bought the precious planet play mat to match our other precious planet items. Again we like the color and animals that are on this product. The animals and print are cute and colorful. There are several other reasons why we chose this playmat. The toys that came with the play mat are fun. We like the way that this playmat is designed and how different toys are hung from the top of the playmat. We did buy extra links to hang to hand the toys because when our daughter first used this play mat she wasn't able to reach the toys because it was too high. other good things about this play mat is that it is easy to clean. We just place the play mat in the washer. It is also easy to take apart to store or travel with. All you have to do is unclip the top part and then fold the mat together. this play mat doesn't take up too much space. We put it on our bed so we could supervise our baby easily. She really enjoys this playmat.

We received the precious planet play mat during our baby shower and are very happy with this gift. We took this out when he was about 2 months old and was able to look and kick things. We bought additional links to hang on this play mat and put up different toys so he could look and them. We set up a mini wall with blankets and the toys that came with the play mat so he could kick them. We really liked this play mat because it grew with our son. As he was older we hung different toys so he could reach out and grab them. Not only was he able to grab the toys but he kicked them too. This play mat was big enough for him to lay under and play. This play mat is very portable. We've taken it to grandma's house. The mat is very easy to clean. All you have to do is remove the toys and place the mat in the washer. This is a great play mat. the toys that came with it are good but you would need to buy additional toys just to make it more interesting for your child.

The Fisher-Price Precious Planet Deluxe Musical Activity Gym is a nice item to play with your baby with. It allows a safe place for baby to play. It is an excellent place to do "tummy time" as it offers light padding on the mat and allows baby to play in a safe place on the floor.  The Fisher-Price Precious Planet Deluxe Musical Activity Gym is a good choice for many months of supervised play. I would never leave my little one on it unattended but it is a great place to lay on the floor with my baby and play with her.  When she was younger she enjoyed watching the polar bear music box play music while its red nose lit up. Now at four months of age she enjoys playing with the dangling toys and batting them with her hands. You can add your own toys to the loops by hooking them on with plastic rings. I like the feature of being about to use the toys that came with the activity gym and also having the option of adding your own toys for variety.

I couldn't wait to register for a play gym when I found out I was pregnant.  After much research, I chose the Fisher Price Precious Planet Play Gym because it got really great reviews.  We didn't receive it off of our registry, but made sure to purchase it on our own and have never regretted it.  It was a great activity for our baby as soon as we brought her home from the hospital and she just used it more and more as she grew.  She loved to lay under it and look up at all the fun things.  We also used it to encourage tummy time.  She wasn't a big fan of tummy time, but she did enjoy watching the animals and listening to the bear play it's song.  It was very portable and easy to take apart and put back together so we could take it with us if we traveled.  I also like that it is washable because we have cats and it occasionally got cat hair on it.  I was sad to put it away when my daughter got too old for it, but we are saving it for when we have another baby.

I registered for this item for my son that is due in May, but was able to get advanced experience using it with my niece.  It is a large circular mat so it actually gives room for her and her friends to both lay under the archways and share the stimulation that it provides.  You can arrange the cushioned polls and toys to suit your tastes, mine being the tri-arch with toys danging from the middle as well as at the bases of all polls.  The highlight of this activity gym is the mirrored sun in the center.  My niece had a blast cooing at herself in the reflection.  The downfall is that they don't provide as many toys to dangle from the amount of links they provide.  However, it is just as easy to attach some of our previously purchased toys and provide entertainment that way.  Something that most activity gyms do not provide that this one does is musical entertainment which is an additional "plus" to this purchase!
