The Fisher Price 2.4 GHz Ultimate Range Monitor was our first choice when we were picking out a baby monitor.  The price was right, it didn't have too many fancy features that we felt we didn't need, and it seemed simple to use.  However, it has been nothing but a pain since we started using it.  When it DOES work, it's fine and does its job:  it provides fairly static free monitoring.  However, our receiving monitor shorts out on sound constantly, and noise could be coming from another room and we'd have no idea.  The monitor will just quit transmitting the signal with no warning, and will...
