Fisher Price Deluxe Little People Nativity Review

Fisher-Price's Little People Nativity Set encourages hands-on play with sturdy plastic figures with a Christmas nativity theme. The set that we had includes:

• Baby Jesus
• Mary & Joseph
• 3 Wise Men
• Angel
• Shepherd
• Several animals and wagon with load
• Barn with button for lights and music
• Palm tree stand

What I like about the Little People Nativity Set

• Pieces are sturdy
• Set is colorful and fun
• Barn plays music and lights up with the touch of a button
• Lots of characters for imaginative play

What would make the Little People Nativity Set even better:

• I'd like to see the barn enlarged and hinged so that all of the characters can be placed inside for easier storage.
• The price is a bit high to me ($30+).
• I actually prefer wind-up toys that play music to save money on batteries, but wind-ups aren't always kid-friendly.

My Viewpoint:

The Fisher-Price Little People Nativity Set is kid-friendly, colorful and encourages active hands-on play. This is a great way for kids to learn about the nativity without worrying about breaking the head off the wise man or busting Joseph. My kids have a Little People barn set, and the animals from the barn were in line with the sizes of these. Of course chickens and cows came to check out baby Jesus at my house as well. Although the price is a bit steep for me, this nativity set does appear to be durable and should last for many years.
